Depends. More of the same, not doing anything but just being louder, isn't better in a tiny jam space where only so many cabs can fit and only so much volume can be attained. Having all bases loaded with 10"s and 12"s and 15"s is better. the 10"s might not be needed but that remains to be seen.

Sorry to derail from the speaker discussion, however I have a question!
I've got the opportunity to buy a beta lead from the states (I'm in australia).
I can't find any information on the power of this head - is it switchable or do I have to operate on it and give it some new iron?

beta bass is not. at least the two that have come through here. Cant you get a transformer to put in front of it? we did that all the time in Iraq.

So I finally snapped at my guitar player about the whole djent influence thing. Any ass wipe with a 4 string bass can dial up a "djent" tone with BIAS on their phone. So now I'm thinking about adding another bassist to to layer a Meshuggah like tone under the HM-2->6505 tone.
