Speedos for All.

All for Speedos.

Be careful what you wish for. ;)

conky wrote:Come on down dude! I'll make sure to set up the space and we can record a fucking badass album while you're down.

I just need to find some funds first hahaha but I would totally be down!!!! Hmmm I'm in town for one night and we wanna record a fucking album..... TIME TO CRANK OUT THE GRINDCORE!!!!

Fuck yeah! I've been working on a solo grindcore album for a while. Gonna base the whole thing on the first Predator movie and call the project GODDAMNSEXUALTYRANNOSAUR.

Sounds good dude. Sucks you won't get to use your sweet, sweet guitar rig, but still awesome that you get to keep making music.

It'll still be used, just not live shows. I'll be bringing it in the studio double track with matt's Musicman HD150. Hopefully though, we'll be able to find a permanent drummer before long and I can hop back on the guitar.

I saw them open for MOTA a few years ago and thought they were ok but nothing special. The more I listen to them now though, the more I really like them.

Also, new cymbals came in yesterday. 20 inch cymbals all the way around (Sabian B8Pro rock crash and ride and a Han Hammered ride) for under 200 bucks on the ebay. All brand new. Can't beat that.

Do u have any way to record the guitars on your own? I'm down for an online collaboration.

Featuring such badassery of songcraft as "Blind to you (Covered in Mud)", "two halves of you are better than one", "thats not a skinned dear in the tree", and "you have 30 seconds to run". :doom:

I do. I got my comp back up and running the other day. I'd like to have gotten a brand new setup but with this surgery to pay for and me building up a drumkit I don't have the funds to put towards a new recording setup. Send me some stuff!

New Young Widows record is really polished and professional sounding. They have come on a long way.

I'll hit you up on facebook later tonight!!! I've been itching for a project to do drums or bass in, I can't quite blast like I used to but I can make it happen.

5 second blast or d beat the fuck out of it. Most of these songs are under 45 seconds anyway.

The people demand clips when appropriate.

I dug that. I see that its from Cocoa Florida. I used to play down there a lot with one of my old bands at the Sports Page. It was right next to some strip club and they always let us in the VIP room for free whenever we'd come down. I loved that place.

So the kids at the local college started a chapter of the Audio Engineering Society and are doing cool weekend project builds like this:

Which they are building in a workshop format this Saturday, don't really need another fuzz and im dropping some dough on a Lone Wolf Plague Rat this weekend(as well as seeing FUCKING CROWBAR, WINDHAND AND COFFINS!!!), but their next project is:

We're also going to be working on something I think you'd get a kick out of called the MOAD (Mother of all Distortions) if you're into that stuff. It'll have clipping stages with variable clipping thresholds on both sides of the waveform, and a two-band bass/treble tone control with variable corner frequencies between each clipping stage. It'll be a beastly thing with like 40 knobs and switches.

Totally gonna make sure I have the time and money for that one, ill report back with more.
