The ecomod is one of his best, IMO. Enjooooy!
I assume that the upper pair of jacks are for the loop then? Did your model have that fx loop? All your old pictures are gone ...

Nah, mine was just one in and one out. Looked like this:

I don't remember what the buttons did. Wet only and... Something else.

I wonder what's possible with the effects loop. Wet only sounds likely.

Do you still have the horizontal Memory Loss? This was the last one that you kept, if I'm not completely wrong.

But you still have it? If so, repair it. :idk:

I sent it to DRod, but I honestly don't remember if he sent it back to me or not.

I have one of these (see previous page) and it's absolutely fabulous with guitar and piano.

The Echo Modulator has arrived today, but sadly it doesn't work. I have to investigate what's wrong with the pedal. :(

That sucks. Broken PT chip again, like on the Kassette you borrowed?

I swapped it already before I wrote the posting above. It made no change in function. I ordered a few parts and will report back.

So now I already swapped the (indeed broken) PT2399 delay chip, as well as the other op-amps (on new precision sockets), the transistor, the diode and the electrolytic capacitors. I also fixed two solder joints. It seems like the pedal could have been exposed to wrong polarity.

The pedal is still not completely repaired. The shortest delay modes work great, but when I change the delay rate it sputters and farts like mad. :erm:

Does anyone know what I should investigate now? :(

It is alive! :!!!:

I ordered another set of PT2399 delay chips, swapped the IC today and - voilà! - it worked like a charm! :yay:
I wonder what's up with the other PT2399's that I had in my antistatic box. Inside my Seppuku Mind Warp they work properly, but they fart like crazy in the Eco Modulator.

Anyway, after having put a lot of effort inside this beast it finally works and it sounds awesome! Definitely one of the best Seppuku units! :animal:

The second output on the left is an effect only output, thus enabling stereo sounds. Really cool! I haven't completely figured out what the other jack above the input does, but my guess is that you can use a volume pedal there. It is not really an FX loop, but maybe it is used to make it a feedback loop, again in combination with a volume pedal.

Another Seppuku deal in the Netherlands, but these two pedals (175€ for the pair only! ) are already reserved. I thought I'd post this anyway, because you don't see a Diamond Skeleton pedal every day.
