yup
all the sudden I need a nice bass. ive had a ton a great basses but right now im down to an epi tbird. local craigslist flood commence
too bad 4003s sound like bright shit, cause theyre so pretty minus that bridge pickup bullshit. had the idea to buy OG 60s Gibson mudbuckers but something about dropping 1500+ on a bass that sounds like dicks doesn't sit right with me. maybe a Gibson Tbird? help me out gentlemen.
Ive played prolly 200+ P basses trying to find one that spoke to me and none of them did anything for me. i love the way they sound when other dudes play them, but not me. wtf gives.
J basses are for talkbass noobs
t40s are really trendy and like 600$ locally.
maybe I should just stick to what I know.

Gibson sg special is like $700. dual humbuckers.
fender reverse jag ss can be had for around $500. big music man style buckers. big chunky neck.
fender aerodyne can run around $500-600. PJ setup.
Gretsch has some nice stuff. I've heard good things about the Jr jet especially for $300.
Tele bass (maybe special?) Has dual humbuckers and is super pretty but I hear they have baseball bat necks.
Most of these are short scales.

ok, so im totally retarded.
4003s have a push pull knob that goes from win tone to fail tone. the black one ive always played is perma stuck in failtone position.
the pinkburst lame looking ones electronics function properly and 4003s sound amazing. too bad the neck pickup sounds like garbage. route that bitch out for a 60s mudbucker
sorry 4003s. unfortunately now I want a 2k$ bass

I'm down to make it happen. ILD drone hell. I guess if we are going to do it we could each all do separate tracks. or we start with one and then just each of us build off the last one's work. like say I throw down a drum track that's extremely sparse and open to interpretation and then send it on to the first guy, they lay down something then do a rough mix send it to the next and so on and so forth till everyone has thrown down something and then mix it all down.

I was just saying a single note, I'm pretty sure whatever is allowed as long as it just wasn't all ass.

Thats happened to me a few times too, all sporadic like, and not very often. 2 pages went by and I replied to a post that was no longer remotely being discussed.
I want a drop arranged for the thumb drive. Taped to the underside of a park bench, or slipped to me in change for a beer I buy.
No one must know.
