The worthless Axcess clone I made is the shit though, but it's only an LP in general appearance.
i'm kinda with you on this...i loved the LP i had and the tone and feel was great...but since then I've had the SG and the Iceman...if i did buy another LP, i don't think it would replace the current guitars because these guitars are just perfect for me. What i will say is...i love the look of a LP Custom...no other guitar comes close to my eyes to a Silverburst LP Custom, or the cream customs.

Dude, the IC400 has the best fucking neck I've ever played.
That neck is fucking art.
So playable.
Handles low tunings like nobody's business.
Gasm.
If I could design a custom guitar, everything about that neck would be featured on it.
It would be nice to have the weight of a LP with it.
Chunk a fucking chunk chunk.
Or
Chug a fugging chug chug.
Hmmm, thread idea.

I have no dream guitar. Never really did, just like having different ones to use for different things so I've never had that feeling to have one all encompassing guitar.

Yeah I get like that as well, but as I get older and my time (and money) gets chewed up by other things, I've realised I can't be thinking of having more than one or two awesome instruments that cover a lot of ground between them.
I fantasize, of course.
I was just perving on these bitches:

(Scroll down for the 8 string Iceman. Jizz. Jizz everywhere.)

I guess I can understand that but really as I get older my time has remained the same and I have more money but less stuff I want or need.
I've thought about getting an 8 string for shits and giggles. Not that I need it by any means but even for the ones I've seen for 300 used I really haven't felt the need to buy one. If I did all I'd do is some demilich or timeghoul worship on it and really I can do that on 6 strings currently.
I really need to fix up my 6 string bass and if I do that then I'd be more likely to get an 8 string to utilize them both in that. I used to use the bass in my skramz band where I practically played second guitar but as a long solo constantly throughout the entire song since every song just about had 20-30 riffs and transitions.

I know some of you guys don't have good taste in music, but I am outrageously excited/terrified.
From the band's facebook:
A new Sleep track will be available July 21st as part of the Adult Swim Singles Program for 2014.
New, as in new.

bwahhhhhhhhhh new Sleep. And the Singles Program has Diarrhea Planet! And Deafheaven. And a Mastodon song... The last time Mastodon did this they released a Remission-era track that slayed. HOPEFULLY they do something similar but it'll probably suck.

Sleep isn't one of my favorite bands, but I am pretty excited to hear it.
