Spazz, Man Is The Bastard, Charles Bronson for older stuff. Full Of Hell is my favorite current band doing it. A lot of people will say Nails but they're barely even powerviolence (though definitely worth checking out).

That video is my life. They're definitely on the more experimental/atmospheric/doomy side. They oft site Merzbow (who they're putting out an album with on Profound Lore later this year) and Sunn O))) as influences.
I didn't see this video earlier, but Full of Hell are my dudes! I think I've played with every single band anyone in that band has been in except for FoH, and they all fucking kill it. Which reminds me, everyone listen to Jarhead Fertilizer.

I think your doing fine, your just using too much throat and not enough diaphragm. We'll get you set straight...
Which leads me to..... Hello group vocal demo track:
[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/nanshe-band/no-longer-mine[/soundcloud]

I'm gonna need an albums worth of that ASAP.
Yes sir, right away sir.

I've got two or three songs worth of riffs and an interlude or two, plus BT's got some material. Hoping we have the first album written by september and released by November.

FUCKING SPOT ON^^^^ Fucking love PV also tons of what was recommended like Full of Hell though I consider them more hardcore, same with HHIG, Fucking love Dystopia was one of the main influences on my sludge band. We pretty much tried to rip off Dystopia and Grief as much as possible.
Also there needs to me more love for Dropdead
Ancient Astronaught, fucking top notch, can't wait to hear that all done up and mixed more properly.
PV is one of my fav things to do and thus far my most prolific band:

Almost not worth mentioning it at all, but one of the little happy moments of finishing the first Mental Waste album was the dude from Spazz who ran 625 Thrashcore said he thought it was good.

He's like an Asian Studies professor at a school in VT now.
Yeah, still...just for the fact that he played in Spazz and WHN? = Cred for life.
Teaching at Middlebury is super not hxc, all the real fuckin badasses teach at Bennington

Matt, you made a comment in a thread that I went diving for today but couldn't find. It was about a Dwarfcraft pedal, maybe stacking it with one of the one's they're reproducing now they've acquired devi.....I think you were asking Aen's missus about it? Putting the two in one enclosure or something? Was it an Eau Claire with something else?
Anyway, I remember you saying that it was the fucking shit and I wanted to check the peds out again, but now I can't remember what the deal was....maybe the mini/hawk combo was it, I dunno. Help me out here chief.
Also, I haven't had time to check out this new Deadhand, or Skip's 9minute tribute to frequency-worshipping-power-violence-doom-core, or SLK's one-man-attack-squad-of-aural-assault....I have a feeling I missed something else in there...new Galax or Khemmis....I apologise guys.
I will make time to go back and suss it.
Wait up....was there new Flux in there somewhere?

Thank you! He is def an influence, I've always enjoyed his odd art, it's kinda just unsettling.
Iommic Pope, it's okay I understand.
also note all the drumming in KP is single foot. I refuse to do any double bass work in it at all.
