That is an excellent deal and find!

That’s actually not too far from my family on Fidalgo Island (they used to go out to Friday Harbor for whatever reason haha.)

I think a few Seppuku have ended up out there for sale locally.

Already sold! That was a good price. It seems to be a very early version. My exemplar has similar graphics, but as always when doing another version Rhys removed some parts of the artwork, so my exemplar seems to be the second DEM generation:

Snagged a Sub-Octave Synth cheap, but the octave is misbehaving. Guy sure made it a pain to work on for such a simple box.

The circuit of this pedal is available in the internet if you need it for troubleshooting. I can only recommend to resolder every tiny bit, even all the conductor paths. Rhys is definitely not the master of the soldering iron.

Just found this five knob and a switch version of the Mind Warp... might be interesting to some of you? The switch (I think) alters the rate the LFO runs at... maybe? One of the knobs is a Mix, I think the other one adds really destroyed noise to the repeats when they become super long, a bit like some pladask elektrisk delays do. Intriguing!

I wanted to post that as well. I supply the picture, because it has even cooler looks than my original unit:

Oh God it's gorgeous... Now gas strikes again... But that's too pricey for a Seppuku.

BetteroffShred borrowed my hysterisis and suggested I reach out to Dino to trace it. I think that's the move.

I was thinking before opening this thread that Seppuku pedals would be excellent targets for DeadEndFX. So yes.

Yes, that's the move. I have a ton of these, so I'll see what Dino's up to. It would be cool to get a couple of the "original circuits" on the market for people.
1. Rhys isn't making them anymore
2. Even if he was, I'd still send them to Dino lololol. Rhys took enough of my money. "You got fat while everyone starved in the streets!"
3. It's not 2013-2016 pedal culture anymore. Even if this was cloning, I'd support it.

Posting this image cause I just heard of this book and it sounds quite interesting. Similar theme because this book "democratized color theory.
