Well I had a crazy day today. Sitting at work and someone runs in to tell me that my wife is having a baby.(She was due in August.) We can't have phones in my building and I guess she didn't call the right number, so she had to call my buddy I work with. I was actually mid meeting. So I run out and jump in my truck and call my wife, and apparently it had already happened. She was only in actual labour for 30 mins which is a shock to me because she's a petite 5ft and our first took like 12 hours. I'm a little upset I couldn't be in there for her but birth is pretty gruesome.(so much fluids) so he's about a month premature and he'll be staying a couple weeks, but he's ok and healthy so I'm happy. We really aren't that worried. We don't even have a name for him. I've wanted to name him Cash (among other names, my other favorite being King, but the wife wasn't having that one.) But her and my son want Hunter and that one isn't terrible. So we're thinking Hunter Cash.
Well all in all, I had an exciting day.

guy i work with recently had his baby early, timeframe seems the same as what you've got going on. think his was at 32 weeks or something like that. but also born healthy so that's good.

doom room vibes out to you.

Man I would've killed for that! I've been rocking the KWC stuff hard the past few months. It was pretty sketchy through and through: back room of a vinyl record store (read: hipster haven), room was basically just concrete, shitty PA, the works. Sound was fucking immense. If they had a better PA or had stacked the amps higher I could have heard a little better; but that low end  Sunn-ish. I was slightly disappointed, because I couldn't tell how much of Thou's regular stuff they played (if any), but it was still $5 well spent.

Righteous news on band fronts and baby fronts! Glad things are working out for everybody, myself included. I just started a new job, so hopefully I'll still have some free time jam and write and do the art, but it's really hard to argue with additional cash flow. :animal:

I'm supposed to see Ash Borer this sat. I actually forgot about the show totally. I kept wonder why my wife wanted me to sew on this archgoat goat priest on her vest and it had to be done by sat. Got too much other shit on my mind.

Metal head problems

Go for Ash Borer, stay for Hell (if they're still touring together of course). They ruled hard.

I love surprise shows. I do the sewing in my house too.

Good to hear about the new job. I'm gonna be in the market soon too. I'm ready to test the market.

Good name choice Skully. ;)

Are those innie nipples? I knew a girl who had those back in the 90's. We reconnected a couple of years ago, and because she had a kid a while back, the innie nips became outies via suckling. PM me for pics
