Congrats on the kiddo. Me and my wife could never agree on a boy name. She likes weak names.

Thanks man. We went in not having a definite name. We had to refer to him as Smith baby 2 when talking to nurses. At one point she did suggest Julian.(no offense intended if this is someone's name.) I couldn't do it.

I am from WA and I can safely say the Pac NW is my favorite place in the US.

I could not make a rat work for me until I got a Volt Thrower (Nicks take on a rat) Gain is about 50%, is after a pharaoh and before a revelation. Both about 50% gain. Sound is good, massive and thick. The VT is a different animal than a rat though. Get's into the same territory sound wise but seems much more versatile and does not revert to feedback so fast.

Man it would be cool to meet more of you all. So far every single DR member I have met turned out to be an exceptional human being. Having been all over the country I can safely say that the music scene here is ridiculous. I can't keep up with it all.

What's wrong with the name Julian?

Anyways it's the fourth and I have to to keep these fireworks hating dogs cool. I'm going to lead by example by doing nothing but laying around all day.

Also I'm selling off that crazy Garnet slave and the Bassman 135 to fund a 'Prince amp' from Soldano. I know I mentioned it before but Prince's people called up Mike and said that he wanted the cleanest amp ever so he could just plug his board into the front. So he built him two and he liked them so much he ordered two more. I got to play this second set of two with my axe and pedals and everything and holy fuck. So now Prince got two more for his other guitar player and dude from The Valley is rockin one out live and Mike's making a full fledged 'product' of it and I pretty much need one. It's basically a stripped down Avenger. I believe he lopped two gain stages off the front and that's about it. Depth, presence, BMT, gain and master. It's squeaky fucking clean waaay up the dial and fuzz sings like a motherfucker. This is an idea that me and Dan from the Valley have been pushing for YEARS. But oh sure, Prince asks for it and it's out the door in a week. Pffft

I guess I don't have much else to say except listen to Sioux and it's nice to see you guys doing good :animal:

I got to hear one of these when we played at the Jo with The Valley. It indeed was fucking awesome. If barry manilow requested one of my favorite amp makers to come up with an ultra simple ultra clean massively powerful pedal platform, I'd want it. even if it had his stupid face on it.
Ok maybe I might balk at that but I'd want the amp.
