Congratulations on the book! I'll have to pick up a copy.

Finished my artwork for the EP. I'll finish the back cover and track listing and everything for the cd release but it's ready for streaming and enjoyment now:

All written and recorded in one day. Almost had it all mixed yesterday as well but that went on over to this morning and drawing up the artwork for it as well.

MY MOTHERFUCKING BOOK IS OUT!!!!!!
Here is the link for Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/The-Snowflake-Eff ... sc_p_tnr_1
Directly from the publisher, my royalties are higher, but it's more of a hassle for you since you have to sign up and pay more in shipping - https://www.createspace.com/4764328
Or you will be able to buy directly from me for like $15 shipped sometime next week once my copies arrive. I'm planning on getting a big ass snowflake stamp and writing crude things in those copies though

I know I mentioned it before but Prince's people called up Mike and said that he wanted the cleanest amp ever so he could just plug his board into the front. So he built him two and he liked them so much he ordered two more. I got to play this second set of two with my axe and pedals and everything and holy fuck. So now Prince got two more for his other guitar player and dude from The Valley is rockin one out live and Mike's making a full fledged 'product' of it and I pretty much need one. It's basically a stripped down Avenger. I believe he lopped two gain stages off the front and that's about it. Depth, presence, BMT, gain and master. It's squeaky fucking clean waaay up the dial and fuzz sings like a motherfucker. This is an idea that me and Dan from the Valley have been pushing for YEARS. But oh sure, Prince asks for it and it's out the door in a week. Pffft
I guess I don't have much else to say except listen to Sioux and it's nice to see you guys doing good

That is pretty awesome.
What's the theory behind a gain control when the amp is supposed to be clean?

It will be on Amazon uk and eu, but may take several weeks to show up there. I have no problem shipping copies internationally for my international doom bros though.
Re: Gain control on clean amp, the way I see it, it lets you blend the pre and power amps voices to you liking. For instance, my Ampeg is clean as shit, but I tend to run my volume at like 3 and my gain at like 5 because the preamp is brighter and it sounds better to me that way. Don't know if it's the same for the amp D is talking about...
