Finished my artwork for the EP. I'll finish the back cover and track listing and everything for the cd release but it's ready for streaming and enjoyment now:

All written and recorded in one day. Almost had it all mixed yesterday as well but that went on over to this morning and drawing up the artwork for it as well.

Dude, I swear you have a problem! You have an obsession. An obsession with loudness. Your solution to all life problems is more volume. For you, I recommend a healthy dose of peace and quiet for a few days. No tubes. No folded horns. No detuned guitars. Watch a few ASMR videos or something.

That would actually be a pretty cool name either way.

MY MOTHERFUCKING BOOK IS OUT!!!!!!

Here is the link for Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/The-Snowflake-Eff ... sc_p_tnr_1

Directly from the publisher, my royalties are higher, but it's more of a hassle for you since you have to sign up and pay more in shipping - https://www.createspace.com/4764328
Or you will be able to buy directly from me for like $15 shipped sometime next week once my copies arrive. I'm planning on getting a big ass snowflake stamp and writing crude things in those copies though :doom:

Will there be any international distribution or am I jumping the gun?

I know I mentioned it before but Prince's people called up Mike and said that he wanted the cleanest amp ever so he could just plug his board into the front. So he built him two and he liked them so much he ordered two more. I got to play this second set of two with my axe and pedals and everything and holy fuck. So now Prince got two more for his other guitar player and dude from The Valley is rockin one out live and Mike's making a full fledged 'product' of it and I pretty much need one. It's basically a stripped down Avenger. I believe he lopped two gain stages off the front and that's about it. Depth, presence, BMT, gain and master. It's squeaky fucking clean waaay up the dial and fuzz sings like a motherfucker. This is an idea that me and Dan from the Valley have been pushing for YEARS. But oh sure, Prince asks for it and it's out the door in a week. Pffft

I guess I don't have much else to say except listen to Sioux and it's nice to see you guys doing good :animal:

That is pretty awesome.

What's the theory behind a gain control when the amp is supposed to be clean?

It really helps when you purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka

It will be on Amazon uk and eu, but may take several weeks to show up there. I have no problem shipping copies internationally for my international doom bros though.

Re: Gain control on clean amp, the way I see it, it lets you blend the pre and power amps voices to you liking. For instance, my Ampeg is clean as shit, but I tend to run my volume at like 3 and my gain at like 5 because the preamp is brighter and it sounds better to me that way. Don't know if it's the same for the amp D is talking about...

Excellent! I'll keep my out for it on Amazon.co.uk.

Regarding the Soldano, I never thought about it that way. I haven't tried many 'clean amps' with a gain knob and tweaked it that way. I remember doing that with Diezel amps and it was cool.

the city of Grand Rapids is setting off fireworks tonight. Everybody and their mother in this town set them off last night. My dog gives no fucks. She slept in bed the whole time chill as hell. Right now she's chewing on a bone like it's no big deal.

Haven't been playing much guitar this week as I have a pinched ulnar nerve. It's not painful or even impossible to play guitar I just want to get the tingling feeling out of my pinkie so I've been bending it as little as possible. Easier said than done at work. It felt pretty good this morning so I feel like I'm almost through it but if it lasts much longer I'll have to go see the DOC. Not really excited about that prospect.

Also T-rey, definitely gonna order the copy through you. I have Amazon Prime but I'd rather just support you directly even if it's just an extra buckaroo. That doom room love.
