My god that would be glorious. And I would be pissed since something cool like that would never come to CO...

Last show we played we trainwrecked this song to the point where we decided we'll have a guest guitarist play the parts I normally loop when we bring it out again.
Of course thats the one that people filmed and did stuff with, so maybe it wasn't as bad from the audiences perspective. I dig what the guy did and the mics are less blown out than most of our live footage.

Yes.... Remission.
And Blood Mountain and Leviathan and Crack the Skye. I know y'all don't like those albums, but I think they're all equally fantastic. Blood Mountain > Leviathan > Remission > Crack the Skye... and then... The Hunter.

Schecter Stargazer is about the closest I've seen. Only in appearance though...and that's not even that close.
I really dig the retro stuff Schecter make. They're really hard to find over here though. It's crazy.

First three Mastodon albums are rad.

I genuinely like every Mastodon album until The Hunter.

Remission, Leviathan, and Blood Mountain are great. Though I think Remission and Leviathan stand well above BM. Crack the Skye has some interesting stuff but c'mon now.

At first I didn't like Crack the Skye, but it really grew on me. The Hunter did not.

I'm in the same boat as you. For a long time, Crack the Skye was my favorite, but now it's Leviathan, because I just listen to it waaaaaay more.
Thanks man. I don't have a direct link yet. I was thinking about setting up a BigCartel storefront, but figured I would let my doombros pay via paypal if they wanted copies directly from me and/or are international. My copies will allegedly be here by Friday. I will almost certainly post a tasteful nude of myself with the stack of books when they arrive.

I want an autographed tasteful nude with my copy, sir.
I have been having a near impossible time logging into this place for the last week or two, it's nice to be back. Also, received test pressings from Magnetic Eye today of my band's 7". I'm very proud.

This is for a local opener on a three band bill, you guys. We're friends with Dallas (who is in Pelican now, used to be in the superlative Asschapel, and is also currently in The Swan King who were slated to open but can't make it) as well as Will from Indian (Humancertainty here on the forum, the bass player from Swan King and Will are roommates, and we've stayed at their place 2x now). Indian, Pelican, Bongripper and The Atlas Moth (who are also our homies) are not going to open a three band bill in their hometown, nor should they. We're looking for up and comer type bands.
