Respect. The place does it for some folks I guess. I don't want to sound entirely down on it. There's definitely stuff to love. Especially the lake.

Snow on the ground all winter = doom.
Mud season = doom.
Vermont = doom.
Vermont's a doom wonderland.
If only there were any actual doom bands there though...

Yeah i'm a man of simple taste. Good beer, local farm food, hiking, swimming, the occasional good concert and easy to walk downtown. I understand not wanting to live there but that's one of my favorite places on earth.

You should come to (the east coast) Portland. It's like Burlington but better.

That new Sleep tune is not very good. The timing is sloppy and it feels too "live". Would be way better if they used a trigger on the kick and quantized the drum tracks. Probably didn't play to a click track. Also the guitar is too high in the mix and needs a midrange scoop at around 1K...
Just kidding!

Sounds like the soundtrack to the weedians finally making contact with civilization after 20 years of stoned desert wandering. I dig it.
Not even high.

The west coast Portland is also similar to Burlington and better
Weirdly never been to Portland, ME. Being near the ocean must make the weather a little more palatable.
That new Sleep cut is so gooooood

obstacle illusions
Girls that look like that and say shit like that become the best kind of strippers.
