Fucking excited to hear it!!!!!
And agreed its totally the way vocals should sound!

t rey..... found the dick. It's life sized like I expected.

Sidenote got a bonus for not getting injured or killed at my job which was a nice surprise. Ton of my shit to finish up some cabs came in today and yesterday so I'm thrilled about that as well. Also playing a show tmwr and will be basically using the entire Mauler stock that hasn't been purchased as a backline.

I was living with this girl that I was dating. We broke up and I couch surfed for a week. When that week ended I ended up moving into a house with this girl I had gone to high school with. We were all still in college. I was 22 and in college. This girl lived in an enormous house. I was living in what would have been an office/study/library. Book shelves built into the wall. I slept on some shitty kind of mattress that was from who the fuck knows where. It was basically a summer camp bunk bed mattress. Absolute shite.
Anyhow, this house was filled with very attractive twenty-somethings. I was the only dude. I lived with five chicks. It was very weird. It was a harem. When it came to general interests and, in particular, musical interests, we couldn't be any different. These girls were all into top forty pop and rap.
The first time we recorded vocals for a project in my bedroom things were awkward to say the least.
Much funny.

Dude, it sounds like the most punk-rock porno ever.
What the fuck did I do with my twenties?
Oh yeah....that's right.
I was an asshole.
A drunken asshole.

My friend has started tuning to A:432Hz instead of A:440Hz because the 432Hz frequency resonates more cleanly with water and solid matter and sounds more harmonious.
Crazy theory or true? I can't decide. But it's LOWER so maybe I'll try it out.

Please report back with results.....hopefully of the devastating to all matter around variety.
Please do not attempt if living on a fault line.
Edit: I just did some reading. I was not aware there was a whole fucking nazi conspiracy about this shit.
You don't wanna tune like a Nazi, do you?

I researched this heavily... The only downside is it only works for instruments set up using a Pythagorean formula for intonation, or on fret less instruments where you control pitch and frequency with your finger. Regular fretted guitars and bass's have their frets placed using a different mathematical formula based on 440hz to achieve proper intonation. So basically your open strings will be correct for your goal but once you fret a note the "magic" is gone....

Interesting...didn't even think about that.
Sooo, how do we get builders to move away from 440Hitlerz?

Shit...
It's still lower though. And "proper intonation" is not a concept shared by many of my guitars.

Its a good idea in theory but practically speaking its kind of silly. You're more likely to hit that tuning halfway through your first song then you are prepping for it anyway.

By convincing them that doing this kind of fretwork should be cheap and inexpensive....

It is lower, and that concept should be......

We have had people come into the studio who wanted to tune to the different standard. One guy was a singer song writer who tuned his acoustic to 432. I couldn't really tell a difference. Most of the others are Europeans who have different concert values. One group of Italians wanted our grand piano to be tuned down and my boss told them no fucking way. We were not going to pay a dude to down tune the piano, which would take a few hours, for a few songs and then pay a guy to tune it back up, which would take another few hours. Not to mention the piano might not have been able to make it through the process and something could be permanently fucked up. Italians might have wanted it tuned up to 442 I think now, can't remember.

I mean, I don't like to brag, but it's pretty accurate
Congrats on the bonus. Free money is always a good thing.
