nice haul whiskey.

SLK -- that setup looks punishing. The matching cabs big ones look fucking awesome together.

If you guys like the atmospheric black metal kinda stuff you can check out the new Panopticon stuff on npr: http://www.npr.org/2014/07/27/333726142 ... =#playlist

Their last album Kentucky, mixed in some bluegrass to the black metal.

Recorded a couple tracks with my band in our practice space today. Just to get our stuff to tape. General impressions would be rad :thumb: Everything's rough rough rough at this point... so it goes.

(both tracks are on the one thing)

Like the bit right before the uncontrolled feedback/vocal part, 2n' riff after that is tight, dig the toanz where it slows down. ends. Is the feedback intentional?
#2 Like the energy, normally not a massive fan of this vocal style but it really fits the slowed down part. Nice. Cool thing the drum is doing. Fuck, lost my place. neat riffage, really like second slower riff /vocal part. nice use of vibrato. do that more. Like how it ends.

I think you could flesh out those slower parts. add some length and maybe develop what happens musically in that space and not just use them for vocals. I dig it when a bunch of different things evolve within a riff structure. I hope that makes sense. I don't really speak music theory.

archlilim tons of potential here. the first riff sounds a bit out of time to me but I think it's cause I can barely hear the drums so I can keep time better. but once it slows down that's sweet and I dig the stop start and next sludgy riff. totally love the vocals, it's like Grief. Loving the second song as well. Get this shit properly recorded pronto.

First track is cool. I agree with whomever said (SLK, maybe) that the first riff in the first song is a little off time, maybe. I really liked the riff with the feedback. The riff that comes after that is really awesome, too. Is this a two guitar band? Sometimes I wish the second guitar would vary in its riffage. There's bits and pieces of a lot of different styles in this and I like that. Sounds like sludgy stoner hardcore is an apt title.

Agreed with SLK on the vocals for this. Outside of just being a little quiet in the rough mix I think they sound awesome. When this is properly recorded I think the vocals would still sound awesome if they're back in the mix a bit. All in all these tracks are pretty cool. Would headbang again.
