I wanted to post it just this second. Expensive, but beautiful in every way!

I don't know what this pedal is going to do, but it looks sweet so far!
Maybe a variant of either the Kompakt Kassette or the Dynamic Echo Modulator?

Oh, my guess was correct!
"Loome
Loome is based on the Seppuku dynamic echo modulator and Eccodrone with some newfangled refinments.
An envelope with soft attack is taken from the delay line and modulates the pitch and volume of the delayed signal.
Pitch modulation range is controled with an attenuverter, it bends down and up to the left, up and down to the right and is neutral in the centre.
The slow attack on the delay provides a throbing reverb rather than a spurious echo. The falling envelope clears the infinite feedback loop as the signal decays."
Oh this is indeed a lovely sound! I've wanted this sound for a long time - sometimes I can make my Reverberation Machine clone do it for short periods of time (but it's really hard to control) and sometimes a pladask elektrisk delay I made sort of does this; but it's really hissy and hard to control... this circuit just sounds wonderful. I looked at the cicruit it is based on because sadly I can't afford to buy pedals at the moment; and it doesn't look too complicated, except I have no idea how you convert a circuit from +- 12VDC to +9VDC... time for some research...

Rhys has the Shring for 175 USD including shipping right now. We are in regular contact at the moment and he says that he loves how the Shring sounds and that units are ready for sale. And the engraved aluminium enclosures look awesome!

A few days ago I made the suggestion to Rhys to offer some of the Seppuku builds as well, especially since some of the popular models were sold for insane prices at Reverb in the last few years when he was inactive. So, folks, now you can simply purchase brand new Kompakt Kassette pedals for 189 USD (including shipping!) at Rhys' shop:
