duel bass bands where it's only two bassists and a drummer... Suffering Bastard is the only way to go.

When a band does the just bass and drums or 2 bassists and drums.. .I tend to only care if they distort and crush the fuck out of it and more times than not... they don't. At least not enough for my tastes.

That's all I do if there's any bass in the band.

Haha, we just saw that sound engineer's post on the FB page and thought the same thing. Fell to Low is no slouch in the volume department so this should be fun. I'll be in a Nails shirt with a mustache and beanie, see you there duder!

Fuck, had work til 10 last night and at 8 this morning. No dice. I hate missing out on a doombro meetup, beers on me next time you're here/I'm there bud!

So, if a bass amp is really bright, like super bright, keep the treble at 8 o clock bright running through 2 15's, adding a 4x10 is just going to make it worse, right?

I just want to for sheer wall-of-cabs effect. My guitarist has a wall going on, and I'm a little jealous.

But, bad idea, right?

Oh man, that would be fun.

I only ask about the 4x10 because I have one here already.

use your tone knob on your bass?
my fender cyclone is kinda bright and so i sometimes roll off a little treble when I'm playing clean using my tone knob.

whats better then the most epic new amp day? a new guitar and amp day! whats waaaay better then even the most epic new rig days?

new rescue pitbull day.

you guys remember my pitbull, sunny, who was a walking skeleton that was able to tell parvo to go fuck itself. shes been nursed back to health for some time, and shes needed a playmate.

meet cairo. shes 2 and a half also, shes had a hard life so far. 2 slipped discs due to owner abuse, and was also a walking skeleton when she was taken from her owner. shes had 2 fusions in her back, and has wobblers syndrome, and has been in and out of foster homes / potential forever homes for a year and a half. people didn't want her because she has a short life life expectancy, will potentially become very expensive with age, and is a drool fountain.

in other words shes perfect. she snuggles, she plays, shes an amazing amazing dog, and im sooo fucking jazzed to show her to you dudes.

heres cairo. newest furamily member at la casa loco.

You sir, are a fuckin saint! that is amazing what you are doing for these dogs. I never understood why people could treat dogs like that...its good to know there are people like you who offset the cunts of the world.

you could sell your whole metal music collection tomorrow and listen to Michael Bolton and Boney M and you'd still be A OK in my books. :thumb:

oh man it may be time for a buddy for blinky
i been crazy busy for a few weeks
jams with the bass player are gettin tight
im gonna put some stuff up this weekend

this is some personal stuff
but some of you may be interested/affected
i was sent away as a teenager 1996-1998
to a couple crazy long term theraputic communities
one closed down in 2011 due to allegations of abuse
that was the Elan School in Poland,Maine
i believe one of ben weasels solo albums has a few songs about it
he was there a few years before me
the other place i was sent to called The Family Foundation
CLOSED DOWN YESTERDAY!!!!
they avoided an some how skated through a loophole
which allowed them to be govenned by NOT ONE agency in the U.S.
the only way to get it shut down was internet and word of mouth
and these are the people that did it
http://www.thefamilyschooltruth.com/
give them whatever internet props you can
they saved thousands of kids from ever being exposed
to that kind of abuse, neglect, brainwashing, sexual humiliation, etc
if you read the testimonials you will hear my story
i finally escaped after 6 months after 3 failed attemps
but got arrested 8 months larter and was sent to maine
anyway sorry, didnt wanna tell my whole story here
its a good day for me
its been getting better in the past few years
but i spend most of my dream/nightmare time still locked away
this makes me feel better while im awake
