thanks!!! I've been pondering a cheap as possible crusty / grindy rig lately and was considering using an old death metal as my dirt. Now I'm thinking revelation superlead > bugera 6260 (5150 clone thats dirt cheap) > $100 peavey 4x12. My new bands guitarist has been using my revelation into his 6505+ and its fucking beastly.
On the split we put out, the guitar tracks are a 5150 and a Soldano Hotrod both being slammed with a Revelation Superbass. Fucking huge ass tone.

Is it worrying that I'm more afraid of the flesh eating titty baby than the 6'4", 220 lb bearded man?

You should be, he's definitely a wild card. I've only known the guy for three weeks, he could do anything.

How about this then; I was born in 1990, and in 3 weeks I will be teaching A-level psychology. Meaning that someone who was born when you graduated, is old enough to teach people at the age you graduated.....

Look at this lil' whipper snapper, he's got some fight in em. I kinda like that. He even knows how to use grammar correctly.
You might just prove me wrong yet.

Sadly enough you'd fool a lot of people into thinking it was some fancy boutique thing. I like my boutique stuff, but if I've learned nothing else since finding the forums, it's that I can make just about anything work okay.
I'm 100% on board with that idea though. I just threw out a Smashbox with a broken switch, otherwise I'd send it to you guys. It was my main dirt (going into a 20 w Fender ss combo) for like five years before I decided that learning about gear would be a worthwhile thing to do

This might be the best thing anyone has ever said about babies.

I used to have a Smashbox that was my main bass dirt box. I lent it to someone for recording and they never gave it back.
I lurrrrve my boutique stomp boxes, but some of my favorite stuff I've ever used cost me $20 or was free.
