Have you tried the Death Metal on bass? I've heard its supposed to be pretty decent.

This weekend went and hung with my friend as we did a tradeshow/music gear swap. I was showcasing my Maulers while he was selling his random piles of projects he didn't want to fuck with. We kept wall o deathing the place with our gear/ my cabs.

had to throw stickers on the amps saying they weren't for sale so we would stop being asked.

Got to talk to a ton of people about them and have 2 very strong potential commissions. So good feelings overall.

For the deal of the century, walked about and my friend actually talked to the guy and got a price on these two, then we just left them sitting and I went over and he pretty much like I'm not sure what's wrong with them and kinda told me they were scratchy or whatever... so I bought them and that night took them back to my buddy's house and yea... like one had a scratchy pot and that's it, everything else was checked out great. Oh price for them.... $20 for the pair.


oh also got some flight case type things that's for transporting cds. they carry 50 each and you remove the top so you can just throw them out on the table and then relid and roll when you want to go. I got the 3 they had for $10 as well. I left them at the shed, I can get a pic of them later.

Yeah, it's pretty killer for high gain distortion on bass. I haven't recorded anything with it on bass yet though.

yesterday was an awesome day. finally FINALLY got a new truck. my lilred had 275K on it and its been a pest for the last 2 years. living in phoenix with out AC in my truck for 5+ years blows ass too. I used to have to cause I didn't have a choice, but now I actually could do something about it. woot.

robbed my local ford dealership for a brand new f150 single cab. basic as FUCK but MILES better then what I had. and its red ill put up some pictures later today of it.

the wife tried to get me to get a tiny ford fiesta or focus hatchback, and even tempted me with a fucking new guitar (fucking rgasm that evil evil temptress) but Im a truck guy at heart

samzadgan, yea those were the two eye catchers for sure, quite a few people came over cause they thought the top one was def an orange. So it was great I decided to do em up like that. haha

And yea I didn't even haggle the guy, I walked over asked about them and he was running through what he thought was wrong and said he was asking 20 for both but he would take 20 for the pair, my wallet just about caught on fire with me pulling it out to fish out a 20. I was like even if they are firewood it's a great deal.

Tom makes some awesome fuzz. I have a Huger on my board now that is a mainstay. Also have an Arc Flash that's in the mail. Hanging for that one to come. Hopefully this week. And am gassing hard for a Velcrobot, that will be ordered in a couple of weeks. Don't know if I'll have much room on the board after that but if there is I might have to look at a Pocket Arcade.
