Bought this Elka Panther 300 yesterday for a couple hundred bucks, painted the hood today (was boring black).
All works except the vibrato is barely audible and some keys are slightly out of tune. I have to replace some caps, the inside is amazing.
Even came with a bass pedal setup and volume pedal. I don't have a clue how to play the thing, sounds crazy though. It makes the amp you put it through ungodly loud somehow, I'm putting it through a little champ on like 5% volume and it drives the amp really hard that low.

The insides are similar to those of the Yamaha YC-series. Currently we have the big YC-45D in the shop I'm working in part-time. A few weeks ago I had a look inside it and it is PACKED with horizontal circuits and wires. Insane!

The insides of this are so different than the wiring and workmanship of various old amps I have, its really meticulous and there is so much going on. All those larger can caps has a note written on it, I think you can tune the note by turning the screw on the top of the capacitor looking things...I'm guessing the three turquoise chicklet caps are the ones I need to replace, the vibrato controls trace to that section. The boards are all modular and pull out.

The YC-45D is the biggest one and it was the Yamaha's flagship back then. It weighs 60 kg (132 lbs.) with the legs. Not as heavy as the CS-80.

Also also, do I want this thing? It's a Farfisa Pianorgan III. Looks like it's in great condition, it apparently works, it's only $50CAN

I could live in those sound clips! Great job! If you haven't seen it check out Andrzej Korzynski's magnificent score for POSSESSION. Pretty sure he used a DX7 for his Klingz and klangz.

Thanks man! I'm really enjoying both the DX7 and Sub 37. I'll add Andrzej Korzynski's score to the list to be listened to

My latest additions. I've had the Analog Four for a couple months, just got the Digitakt about 2 weeks ago. Love both.
