In development, Fryette was saying the headphone amp was being beefed up enough to drive cabs in stereo, meaning you could run post-amp stereo effects without an external amp in lower volume settings.
Still no foot switch to change channels, but if you’re dialing in your base sound and using, I dunno, fuzz pedals, that doesn’t seem so bad.

Though I do think it's nice since I really dislike germ fuzzes because of the issue this addresses.

i've never owned a Fuzz Face for those reasons despite my love for their classic sound. so this is definitely of interest.

Make sure they have it in stock. A bunch of years ago, I believe I purchased (or tried to) a Bananana Matroyshka. After buying it I was told it was a pre-order and that mine would ship out as soon as they started shipping. I ultimately had to fight to get a refund as Bananana started shipping out direct orders and not dealer orders and direct orders were even cheaper!!!!

Yep, good point. Been really looking forward to trying one of these, and the OG one never seems to come available in second hand market, maybe got a bit over anxious. Friends, this is what happens when a human brain becomes addicted to dreams of non-modular arpeggios. The lesson:: I don't fucking know, I'm the addict. You tell me.

the ways it's used in the demo are awfully obvious. there's a lot of subtle textural stuff i can hear in those functions, but all they're doing is Dial-An-Arp at a fairly fast speed. i want to know what it sounds like when you dial in a low bass at a glacially slow rate through a reverb/delay stack so you can do Thomas Köner shit, or do weird little tweetly Autechre bits up in the 9000-10k Hz range. or roll out warbly Loveless walls of sludge with fuzz and reverb.

Yeah, the arpeggio in the "bridge" of To Hear Knows When. 1969 - BoC. Nils Frahm. Philip Glass. I came across this youg woman, can't recall her name at the moment nor find her videos, but she has been dragging her modular setup out into forests, abandoned buildings etc and recording her arpeggiated bliss in those settings, all sorts of lovely arpeggios out there. Didnt much care for the Arpanoid, looking forward to the Tarrakarriahoweveritsspelled.

Steve Reich. one of these afternoons i'm going to get out the looper and fuck around with Music for 18 Musicians. i need to work out how to run two loops with the speed of one slightly altered so they go in and out of phase, a Reich thing Orbital specifically referenced at both ends of the Brown Album. the "even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day" piece cracks me up.
