I think they make decent stuff. Their ginger beer is interesting pint. You can find a couple at Aldi here in Ireland for just over €2 a pint.

I don't know if you can get it over there, but the Sierra Nevada Torpedo extra IPA (7.20%) is one of my favorite 'mass produced' beers. But I'm all about the NW craft IPAs.
I couldn't find a beer to my liking in the UK.

I could care less for beer. I sipped on an enema kit one time on a dare and it tasted just about like a warm PBR. It all tastes nasty so if I'm drinking to get drunk I just go for the whiskey.

The beer sucks in the UK...good beer in Australia though...i miss good
Aussie beer so much and these days there are a lot of micro breweries too...the UK is all about their ale.

As far as Saisons the Stone Saison is a pretty good introduction to the style, as is the Collette from Great Divide. New Belgium's Trippel and Abby beers are fantastic openers into Belgian styles. Good wheat beers have a really good citrusy taste that can either be heavy almost spiced orange, to really light lemonade taste as well. I'd recomend an unfiltered wheat beer if you enjoy sweeter and less bitter beers. Also some darker lagers and bocks have a sweet taste to them rather than the bitter as well.
Noted! I do love me a good Belgian beer, Delerium's stuff is top notch and I've also had one called Lucifer that was divine. I've had a few bocks as well that I enjoyed. I'll keep an eye out for the Stone one as we definitely have their stuff around here.

Skip, you should totally do that. I'll buy. As far as IPA's/your love for cider goes, cider is awesome but I can't drink it all the time because the sweetness makes my teeth/stomach hurt. IPA's are awesome to sip but not really pound back/drink quickly.
Other than that, I love most beers but will honestly buy PBR tall boys over more expensive shit pretty much any day. I'd rather smoke for the most part and I really just want something I can drink quickly and cheaply.

Also, back this really hard. I dig Sierra Nevada. There's a brewery near my house called Lost Rhino that's fucking awesome as well. They have a ton of interesting stuff for decent prices.

UK-made beers? I'm not sure there are many. Definitely all about the ales.

Yeah, you don't drink IPA's to get drunk or buzzed. You drink it for the taste and the snobbery.

Also IPA's are usually high ABV. You definitely drink them to get drunk. You drink all beer to get drunk. Unless you're one of
those people who don't ever sully their palettes with anything and don't have any fun at all.

I will also defend UK beer
Wychcraft/Wychwood and Brew Dog especially are fantastic. BD is actually one of, if not the, fastest growing business in the UK right now.
