I've got a lead on a Randall RH200 head for $175. What do you guys think?

First track is very We Live-y.

about what they go for, or at least what I paid for mine. I think it's a pretty solid head so I dig it. I've used it on a couple of recordings. sounds better recorded than I expected live cause it seemed a tiny bit shrill to me.

I'm only about 2/3 through the album but I had some thoughts:
PRO's:
It has more of the old school Let Us Prey vibe in the vocals, bass tone, and ambience (which is my FAV album)
The samples and timbre of the album remind me of bongzilla
It's very dark and psychedelic without being over the top.
Con's:
There's too much clarity in the recording, its missing the washy vibe that made the old school abums bad ass
No song's (so far) stand out as very memorable and ground breaking, it seems more like back ground music than jam out music.
and is it just me or is the bass WAY to loud?

I think it's just you. Record sounds better the more you turn it up, too.

These look like like English words, but when I read them all left to right there's just no concept my brain can relate to it.

Hey I like a loud bass, but at the volume I was listening at it and the drums were the only instruments I could hear until a wah guitar track would come along.
Gonna have to give it a go on the big stereo tonight.

Pros: Sadiowitch
Cons: the rest of the album being so boring and meandering.

You, sir, have a heretical concept of 'boring' as it relates to 'meandering.'
source: I never get bored by anything. Slinkies are the raddest.
