There is no rage like the rage that comes when your internet is randomly shut off at 5pm on a Sunday and you can't call to pay the fucking bill because your cell service shut itself off and has decided that you'll just have to sit and wait for an hour before they finally decide to just drop your call to pay their bill because no one fucking works in customer service.

My plan currently is to go work out a ton and get back into boxing so I can beat Gerard Pique in a fight and claim my Colombiana.
If that fails, my backup plan is to start a polygamous cult in rural Colombia where I'm "el mayor jefe" and name all of my followers something similar to Shakira. Zhakira, Shakeeka, Shaquilla, etc.

In other (more real life) news, my second 15 hour shift of the weekend just got extended by 8 hours against my will, and I can't say I'm over the moon with having to do a 23 hour shift on 4 hours sleep. People who call in sick an hour before work are very often terrible people.

Bought my third dishwasher in 7 years this past summer. Each of the previous ones had multiple service visits on two-year service plans. Spent a little more money and got a 5 year service plan this time thank god. Whisper quiet operation and cleans well. But it shit the bed back in November and it took them two weeks to get a guy out here. Died in the middle of the cycle again last night. Now its going to take them another two weeks to get out here again. Spent an hour and a half catching up on all my dishes by hand last night and I can still feel the soap on my hands. Going to go sink like $20 into paper plates to hold us over in the meantime which I fucking resent because I dont want to be so wasteful. Is it like this for everyone? Are all dishwashers just completely unreliable garbage now? I feel like I've been cursed.

this also marks the 2 year anniversary of my band which was started around the same time to help cope with the separation anxiety and depression. entering year three strong but these last two years were rough.

at the time, the relationship was all i had. everything was shit at the time and she was my light. but i'm finding new things to keep maintained.

That's very healthy that you can say all that. I'd say you're moving in the 'right' direction.

If it makes you feel better, I've come to the conclusion 2 years is really not that long to be bitter. Some people never get over their ex's and forget it when you get into divorce where 'funds' and potentially 'child care' are involved. A lot of those people spend the rest of their lives bitter (there are exceptions to this generalization).

i'm still hella bitter about my second marriage and especially about the 10-year relationship i had that ended in 2011. i think about her way more than i should considering what a manipulative controlling bitch she was, but when she was OK she was really great. best travel companion i ever had. <sigh>

Your on the right path man. Past is past. Shit is painful and leaves scars, but its just bad memories in the end. Keep focused.

Yeah, I almost exclusively use paper plates, now, because my dishwasher broke, literally, a week after the warranty expired.

I've realized that dishwashers are just awful things with planned obsolescence.

In other news: on top of all the things I was angry about yesterday, my main computer suddenly died which forced me to spend $50 on a new power supply that's gonna take a fucking week to get here FROM MICHIGAN.
Also, received several calls today from customers whining about the wait times for their repairs that showed up a week or two before Christmas.
You know why it's not fixed? Because I'm not gonna spend every fucking second working on your beyond fucked up intercom in the middle of holiday season when there are five other people that have been waiting a lot longer than you and have managed to not call me every single fucking week about it.
