Our jesus guitarist used one back in CLG with a bassman to great effect. I always thought it was great sounding and the boost in it is an SHO, so you're getting two rad pedals for the price of one. Also, check out the Distortron. Similar sound, slightly more gain. Only drawback is no boost. In the BOR the boost is also useable completely seperate.

POG after fuzz is crazy...never thought it would sound good until i heard the other guitarist in my band using it that way...it blew my mind!

The only thing about an OCD or variant is that they might not get "dirty" enough for you, but then I think about your rig... You run your Marshalls pretty hot right with a bit of breakup or do you keep em pretty clean? If you run on with a lil bit of breakup or right on the edge the OCD will sound killer, if you run em clean you might find yourself wanting it to be dirtier. Then again you could always put that black eye boost (you still using one of those?) or any boost in front of it and have as much gain as you'll ever want.
I run both Marshalls clean as a whistle. Lower gain preamp tubes and low inputs.
I have the Black Eye after the Muff. I'm not really a fan of boosts in front of dirt. I like them after.
I gotcha. Your like me, super clean all the way up the dial.
I use them both ways depending on the desired sound. On my seven string board I run the Mosfet boost nick built me at the end just to give everything including the delay a good ol juicing. But on my six string board I run the Mosfet boost after the wah but before the ODB so I can add saturation to it and turn it from an overdrive into a distortion basically.

The Elements or Quantum Mystic get my vote. I've used them both into the low input of a Marshall-y amp and both get the chug and the heavy heavies. The QM is fuzzier (still palm mutes awesomely) but the Elements can get pretty similarly dirty/fuzzy on its own. I don't have experience with the Box Of Rock but wanted to add my two cents to a couple of the prior suggestions I've noticed.

what tuner do you have?
I had to run my Whammy V before my tuner because the the whammy made the feedback loop all fucky on my Demon King and found that if I sammiched my Korg Pitchblack between the Demon King and Whammy V I had no issues. I know that when I used to run a Boss OC-3 before my BAT Pharaoh the buffered bypass did some fucky shit with that, too. So you might need to try the Mini FF on its lonesome and then chain everything else in to see if it alters the tone at all.

That's what I was going to say ^^
Traditional path should work but it's worth a try to get everything with buffers away from the input of that FF to see if it sounds better that way.
Q-Zone > Pog > Ringer > FF > Whammy > Tuner

Interesting, I have a buffered bypass tubescreamer before my pharaoh, and have had no problems. Fuzz faces though are really shitty with buffers usually.
