Anyway, after lots of deliberation and receiving the blessing of our dear old Uncle Whiskey, I've decided I want to trade the RedBear and I'd like to give y'all first go at it before posting it in BST. I want another Coliseum Bass or a dope guitar. Particularly an amp or a guitar before anything else. But, holla atcha boi. The fucker was recently rebuilt and ready to punch you square in the penis for years to come.
I feel ya dude, me and my gf broke up after 4 years a fortnight ago.

I think I sold it to one of the doom room regulars... Maybe Parker, I can't remember. I miss it something fierce and bet it would fucking rip with this new setup I have now.
Also just scored a hard case for my Jazzmaster and ESP on Primaxe for $125 shipped with their 21% off code.
In the same deal where I got the badascan I got something else you might remember..... a certain HM-2 maybe?

Got the Black Winter installed and holy fuck, this thing rips. Not too far off from the Duncan Distortions in my other guitars. Maybe a tad bit brighter (but that could be the alder body and ebony fretboard) but they still have the nice mids and growl of my other pickups. I was worried about the cleans but they sound fantastic. They get a lot warmer when you roll back the volume a little bit too which is nice considering this is a one pickup guitar with no tone knob so there is still some nice variation in tone to be had from it. I probably won't go swapping the DD in my other guitars for these, but if I come across a good deal I'll be sure to pick some more up. Really thinking about putting one of these in the neck of my LP to see if it brightens it up a bit.
Fuck yes!!
You got my old HM2 as well? Fucking awesome. I can't remember which serial number my Badascan was (wanna say it was either 6 or 9, but maybe I'm thinking 9 because my Black Forest is #9) but I know it was one of the small box enclosures.
I'm digging the Black Winter pretty hard. I ended up installing a tone pot on it (left it in the cavity though, didn't drill any holes for it) because it was still pretty bright. With the tone pot all the way up it was just a tad bit warmer just with it in the circuit. Perfect doom machine.

That I did!!! Well the badascan I just got off boatrich is #6 and he got it direct from mark so yours is probably #9.
Awesome I love that pickup. Interesting about the tone pot, I'll have to remember that. Glad your digging it though@!@

Man. That shit must be going around. Me and my lady split up a month ago. Waylon, Bocephus, Elijah Craig and women with loose sexual morals have been helping matters, though.

confession: I am watching Through the Never and I'm liking it...the intro is wanky as hell...but the Good, the bad and the ugly theme music I like because its my favourite movie...kirk is a hell of a guitarist, James i respect for all the early stuff that he wrote, and Lars is a twat...and everything they made after And Justice is irrelevant to me...but they started with Creeping Death...takes me back to when i was about 12 and i bought ride the lightning tape...
