Thanks for the kind words dudes. I don't know what to do, it'd be a lot easier if the band was a bunch of dicks and I could feel good about leaving. But they're good guys and I don't want to screw them up. Anyway, I suppose we'll have one of those band meetings and figure it out.

Thanks to everyone buying pedals, I'll probably add a couple guitars today.

If it's good enough for Scott Kelly to use on tour...

I'm just a fan of living vicariously through other people's awesome gear happiness.

I think the Skyhammer is more suited to guitar, but I don't think there's any real reason not to use the Meatsmoke.

yeah I think the Skyhammer is the one i wanted.

the thing is, the meatsmoke has to be good enough to kick off the QM and BF off my board...and i would have to sell some shit...and since the most recent purchase, there isnt much to sell, unless i start selling stuff that i really like.

The Meatsmoke would probably kick the BF off your board but it would definitely not replace the Hi-Gain of the QM. The Meatsmoke is the Bass pre, and it gets fairly dirty fromw hat I understand but the Skyhammer is the guitar one that screams hi-gain.

Yes, proper voltage and everything. It's literally the preamp of those amps put into a pedal. When I had the SkyHammer Pre that Darren has now I opened it up and its got full mini transformers, 3 12ax7's, and everything.

Here's the TAD documentary, Busted Circuits, Ringing Ears. If you haven't seen it, you should. If you have, you should watch it again.

I've watched that Tad doc so many times...and it's not even very good. Too much talking, not enough rocking.

God's balls.

I bet the BF stacked into either of those would be heavenly. Honestly don't think I've found a better amp pusher than the black forest.

While true Sam would need something to replace both the BF and the QM as he'd have to sell both to afford it.

No prob. Both pedals do sound sick as hell but I think if it was a Skyhammer it would be worth it.
