It should be good. There haven't been any new firmwares since then and the boards haven't limited anything in years.
Great, thanks @oldangelmidnightoldangelmidnight wrote:It should be good. There haven't been any new firmwares since then and the boards haven't limited anything in years.

Hi.
It would be great if the expression pedal and pots could override one another. Would have to decide which control method would take precedence for initial powerup or when mode switching. Either way, sometimes would be cool to switch between control by either of these without having to unplug/replug the expression pedal.
Thanks a million. Best pedal ever…

Yes maybe something like that is possible. We should have some fw update later this year because we have to up rev the PCB anyway.hce wrote:multi_s wrote: It would be possible to make it so just whatever was most recently moved takes precedence or something like that. It's not a bad idea.

I know this has been mentioned before here, but would it be possible for an option to switch expression control to soft switch? say selected by holding soft switch while holding q or by triple tapping when bypassed? expression could function as soft switch by threshold crossing?
This could also free up soft switch as modifier for E switch for selecting which function the knobs control e.g. in mode 3, between DIR, Len s, rand amount??? would be wicked to have different sample lengths in mode 3……![]()

hi im not sure i totally follow, a clear happens when you do a short click. so it seems you would clear the buffer by accidentally holding for too short a time, not too long? or maybe i don't quite understand what you mean.hce wrote:Hi.
Maybe a bit of a picky suggestion here: sometimes in modes 2/3, accidentally clear a carefully layered buffer because not quick enough releasing soft switch. Be cool to have a speed limit on re-engaging soft switch to prevent accidental hyper toggling. Thanks
I think at the soft switch's 'point of contact' the pedal can toggle very quickly as in the above example, if you raise your foot too slowly.multi_s wrote:hi im not sure i totally follow, a clear happens when you do a short click. so it seems you would clear the buffer by accidentally holding for too short a time, not too long? or maybe i don't quite understand what you mean.
it would not surpise me if notifs don't work on this forum anymore. it seems sort of in decay unfortunately. you can email me directly support@mtlasm.com if you want and send a video if the switch issue is happening a lot and we can see if it is something more than just your pressing style etc.hce wrote:

Perhaps I should just train myself to lift my foot more decisively. Of course might be just my particular pedal for some reason… if you've never experienced it then maybe so……
