I was doing so well up until now too.

I haven't a clue. Those guitars are too obscure for me.

Damn, now I wish I'd have just photoshopped them. But they are real. Those are a more obscure model by the british company Watkins'. I'd like to try one of those Vibra Rapier Deluxes, they look sexay!

The headstock on the pic you posted is about right, but the body shape is nothing like the stuff Watkins built. Either it's a frankenstein or some other brand entirely, I'd say.

Thanks for that link, phantasmagorovich. Interesting stuff.

Yeah, I'm more familiar with the Strat-ish looking Watkins Rapier than any of their other models.

Well, Tom Cullinan is British and he has been known to play guitars that are a bit monstrous in construction.

Just found this:

Thought you guys might enjoy it.

That might be a Watkins guitar that Cullinan's playing. Not sure.

I saw them on another date on this same tour. They were great.

Wow. That's a pretty cool guitar. And I like the band as well. I love how the drummer seems to be enjoying himself so very much.

Glad you like the band, phantasmagorovich. The drummer? I think he's enjoying himself so much because this show is from a reunion tour.

phantasmagorovich, you were right about that guitar in the photo I posted of Tom Cullinan. It's not a Watkins. It's another British guitar. It's a Hohner.

I stumbled upon it while looking at this site:

That guy has a great collection. It's a shame his pictures are somewhat squeezed. I noticed when I looked at his framuses. Those are shapes I'm very familiar with and he makes them look a little odd. However I think I found another contestant for Tim Cullinan's guitar on that picture.

How about the earliest incarnation of the Vox Stroller:

You know, I think your Vox Stroller is closer to the mark.

I was definitely a little off with the Hohner. It didn't exactly fit, but it was getting closer.

Yeah, it is too bad about that guy's site. The photos are too squished and too small.

I like the design of this guy's site, but he never adds anything new to it and he doesn't have photos up of all his guitars:
