Blacktop line seems to be chasing players of metal-ish genres. I'm guessing humbuckers and 27" or so scale. I'd probably be a lot more interested without the humbuckers. I'll reserve judgement on scale, though.

probably it is the same that happended with the squier jmascis: thomann had it on its page and it was pulled after several hours. rumours said, thomann was too quick and fender wanted them to wait untill the official announcment
so i would say, it will be up within the next 2 weeks. first on the fender page.

only 27" scale, though.

Frak. I hate S-S-H guitars. Frakking hate them.

It works for strats/superstrats...but on a tele H-S-S is just wrong.
I'd probably swap the pups/guard anyway.
