It costs a lot to match a headstock.

I fucking hope you're joking.

Really? Even if it does, for a lake placid blue jag with matching headstock, I would pay whatever (assuming I had the cash for an AVRI in the first place).

Wouldn't agree, I have huge monstrous hands - I'm 6'8" and have to make any stringed instrument scale short of 30" work for me vs the other way around.

24" works better for some things than 25.5 or 24.75 because of how the fingers fall - sometimes it's about relative position and not just 'too big'.

For precision work, I end up on my Jaguar.

I assume he was kidding. Until Blacktops, Fender's cheapest Jag (HH Special) had a matching headstock. Granted they were all black, but still.

Yep. I really hope they finally broke their streak of
A: "We need something new for NAMM. Ideas?"
B: "How about a Jaguar but with humbuckers and maybe a less cool bridge setup?"
A: "Excellent outside-the-box thinking! Make it happen!"

I'm starting to wonder if Fender over-ordered Jaguar bodies in the 60s like control pots and just recently found them in a warehouse.

Take your aim.
Cause you know what sounds better [than a cheap Tele bridge pu]?
The neck pickup on any Jazzy.

english, motherfucker, can you read it? I said tele neck pickup, not bridge, so your argument is invalid
