the one that's visible in the posts looks like they took a LP-sized body and moved the bridge/tailpiece back. the AL-2000 looks better.

I want the looks of the one i posted with the corrected pickup placement of the one you posted..... come on Rondo! The one i posted has the pickups in the normal LP position but the bridge moved back, the one you posted has both in the normal position but a longer scale neck (notice the one you posted has 24 frets while the one i posted has 22).

I was seriously considering getting a back up baritone for my solo project, but i decided to pick up a telemaster as an E standard back up instead since thats what we use 95% of the time.

i think i might take the Ah-Gee-Lei plunge on one of those bass VI type models after the new year.
just wondering, if i get the one with toaster pickups, are there suitable replacements that do decent mid-high output humbucker tones?
i could always get the one with 3 singles and use stacked hummers from semour duncan, dimarzio, etc...
