I sometimes use an Analog Man Bi Chorus(2 small clones in one box), an old '77 Deluxe Electric Mistress and an old early 80's Boss BF-2 set on a chorus setting. The small clone is a great chorus pedal for the money. My favorite is the mistress, it will do everything from Purple Rain to Message in a Bottle to the intro of Spirit of Radio... its just too big and doesn't play well with other pedals at all. The BF-2 is what I take with me live, not really a full fledged flanger, but to flangy for true chorus, the buffer is really good sounding too, seems to add a nice sheen to everything I run through it.

I am also a HUGE univibe fan, have a deja vibe and a moen univibe as well. I really haven't invested in a phaser yet, though my eye is on that pigtronics envelope phase. Pretty much an envelope filter and a phaser in one, that would be great for me seeing as I have neither right now.

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is ring modulation? Can anyone give me an example in a song or something?

Sound spretty psychedelic/trippy so I'm probably all for it.

My god...

This is the sound I've had in my head for a long time. I always thought it was called 'oscilliating'.
Sure shows my effects noobishness.

So say I had a delay pedal, a phaser and a fuzz. Could I make my bass go crazy like that?
