OH MY GOD

Since this is no limits, and because this guitar probably would already have killer sustain, let's say we add a sustainer circuit (perhaps as part of the piezo pickup circuitry) that has separate coils for each string. And minimal wireless MIDI gear to switch which coils are active per song and to set the desired frequency of sustain. Then you could program in triads or whatever and trigger it with a MIDI foot controller. But that's not all.

What if it could have a tuner built in? Not like a robot tuner, but a snark-like LED tuner embedded in the body. And some other LEDs that are sound reactive (again, tie into the piezo pickup for these)

Oh? And a Muff circuit inside it! Because why not?

I could come up with some crazier stuff where the guitar has a wireless MIDI/synth pickup and triggers video samples on a projector, but I think the stuff above would be pretty cool.

OK, fine, what I really want are the guitar and the bass in this (oh, and throw in Rita Lee's tambourine while you're at it):

Oooooo I forgot about that vibration/sustain technology Moog put in their guitar. That could be intriguing.....

SG-style guitar
Finish like skullservant's telemaster
Black/white/black pickguard (the small one)
Jag/JM style tremolo
Roller bridge
Rosewood fretboard with abalone block inlays
Brass nut
Gibson Dirty Fingers or humbuckers from a Univox Hi Flier
3-way pickup selector switch
Series/parallel switch
Stereo out with master volume for each channel
Varitone-style tone control

OR

Steve Brooks from Torche/Floor his First Act custom guitar shape:

Can't really think of a better finish for it, so I guess I'd go for the same.
Jaguar/JM would look like shit on that guitar, so I'd be happy to have a Floyd Rose on it.
Same electronics as I described above.

german carve semi-hollow.hollowed out Les Paul shape body/headstock. piano black with cream binding and a white pickguard that says "Grace" in script with a semi-ornamental metal piece covering a killswitch mounted on the pickguard by the neck pickup so i can use it while picking. a swell wheel is also mounted sideways underneath the pickguard, serving as a master volume. pickup switch switches parallel to the neck.

pickups are gold foil humbuckers with soft switch coil tapping on the volume knobs (4 knobs). two tone knobs. this jaguar/bigsby-ish hybrid, or a regular bigsby thats more sensitive, and with a longer arm that doesn't have that lump of metal that restricts it's movement. pups would be somewhat slimmer than a humbucker, about p-90 sized. cover is chrome with rail slots covered in gold wire mesh.

the neck is a fender profile slightly shaved down to give a somewhat trapezoidal profile. telecaster measurements. brass locking nut. univox rounded rectangle MoP inlays, with an abalone ring inlay on the 1st 7th and 12th frets. ebony fingerboard. vintage gibson style frets, or flattish fender ones.

construction: outer shell of the body is ash with an interior block of mahogany situated at the bridge and underneath the neck pickup, the neck is essentially inbetween neck through and set, wherein it runs through to the back of the bridge and is fully underneath the bridge pickup, but has slots for the blocks of mahogany to be fitted inbetween the full piece of wood. and the neck is maple. if necessary for natural balance issues, the block of mahogany under the bridge may be carved and fitted with a block of brass that would be tooled for the bridge assembly. so for a summary: routed out/german carve (rickenbacker) construction with a through neck with slots for mahogany wood to fit in at certain points.

so basically on the surface it looks like a gussied up Les Paul with an ornamental pickguard, and dearmonds, and maybe a sorta weird looking pickguard. but its pretty much amazing otherwise.

but tbh, i'd have like... 4 or 5 "perfect" guitars

ZOMBIE THREAD HAS BEEN REVIVED FOR FUN

-Telemaster body with back contour, b/w/b pick guard, arctice white finish with black underneath that shows through any wear
YEAH, I'M COPPIN' ACKERMANN'S STYLE, WHAT OF IT?
-Jazzy/Jag style trem and mastery bridge, or maybe a TOM bridge and no trem
-Humbucker in the neck, tele pickup in the bridge
-Coil-spit switch for the neck where the pickup selector on the top cutaway
-Knobs: master volume, master tone, and one to blend between pickups and maaaaaybe a notch in the middle for both on at full
-Same kind of neck as my Corsair (thin D-shaped?, 24.75" scale) with a tele deluxe style headstock & NO FRET MARKERS
- .12's

Iunno what kind of wood.

Yeah that's awesome. Alright since I never posted let's do this...

Aluminium semihollow jag, like the fender hollow jag with the f-hole but all sexy brushed aluminium, and with more round edges
Pickups: Bridge jag, neck p90
Lower jag switches: neck on, bridge on, series/parallel
Upper jag switches: FUZZ CIRCUIT YES. Algal Bloom with starve and bloom on internal pots and volume and fuzz on the slidy pots.
Mastery bridge, through body strings.
