This^ I have the Death Wish box set. So bad and so awesome at the same time. Another classic shitty but awesome movie are the Exterminator series from about the same time period. There is just something that is so awesome about a dude torching bad guys with a flamethrower :flame:
And if anyone hasn't seen the original Death Race 3000 movie from the 70s the I highly recommend it. Great fun but also so lame.

Rock Monster (not about music)
Snomageddon
Rage of the Yeti
Chupacabra: Dark Seas

I forgot the name, but I saw this movie on sci fi years ago about these government created tsunamis and they used actual footage from the 2004 indian ocean tsunami.. :grumpy: it was eerie

Years ago I worked at Hollywood Video headquarters in the warehouse. My job involved sorting through all the video inventory they had acquired buying out smaller stores.

We had a long list of the movies their stores carried and anything else that wasn't on that list went on a different shelf... Unless it was porn, then it went in a box which I'm pretty sure the management took home for them selves.

Anyway December rolls around and as our Christmas bonus we all got to pick a video off the crap shelf. YAY!
Me along with 3 other people I was friends with there picked the same movie all agreeing to watch it that night and laugh about it the next day.
The Movie was Mutant Species. It was awful/terrible scifi with bad acting, bad script, disjointed plot, terrible editing, bad special effects, etc. It would make a movie like battle field earth look like a mix of Starwars and Citizen Kane.

So I watched it. Made my girlfriend and our roommate watch it. After five minutes we all wanted to turn it off... but I told them I had agreed to watch it. It sucked because it wasn't even funny bad. Just uncomfortable bad. Like so bad I felt terrible for the people in it, and their families, and the human race.

So I go to work the next day and everyone else watched 5 minutes and turned the fucking move off. Fuckers!!!

There was a Australian movie made in the early 70s called Wake In Fright. It was unreleased and ended up lost for years until recently found again and remastered and released on DVD. I watched it and decided it should of stayed lost. It was really shitty and not in a good way. :picard: Why didn't someone watch it first and then bury it in the desert?

Weird, a friend of mine was telling me about that film just the other night. He enjoyed it though but said was a horrible kind of film in a grimy way, not in a shitty way. Mad the different ways people can experience a film!

My man.

That and Rad is well, fucking rad!

Gleaming the Cube is actually a good movie, with a cool 80s skate vibe.

If you've ever wondered what Sidney Poitier's take on "hip hop culture" was,
it seems to involve bad Jazz dancers and leg warmers and finger snapping.

And if you watch this movie on VHS, don't take the advice of the title itself!
If you do that you'll miss all the clunky dialog gems!

"We got to get awesome!"

Fast Forward, 1985. Directed by Sidney Poitier.

Love this thread!

I have The Room viewing parties. It's so much fun with a room of Room-virgins and watch the insanity unfold.

I'd like to throw Troll 2 into the mix.

Any of the American Ninja movies were shitty, too.

Thankskilling was fun, too.

There was a film released shortly after The Blair Witch called The St Francisville Experiment. Terrible film. One decent scare at the end, but I found myself rolling my eyes at the dialogue and characters.
