I could just post the entire album really. It's flawwwless.

No but seriously, let it rip. I spent most my disposable income on gear I did not need this year so I can't buy any of THE RITA or SISSY SPACEK releases... I know you have them
Actually, since you are literally the only other person that posts regularly besides me who is borderline "unhealthily" into this stuff... did you see dat RITA flag... ugh... might have 2 get.
As of new WEYES BLOOD 'Titanic Rising' (which is actually not as unrelated [to be clear, it's VERY UNRELATED sonically] to the above as you might expect. She was really into WOLF EYES when she first started and was in a couple noise projects in Philly) is my AOTY.
True love is making a come back! Just not J H S.

This has been hard to think about, this year had a lot of releases and a lot of disappointments and because of that a lot of really good records fell on the wayside in my mind. The New Cloudkicker and the New Lingua Ignota have been ace, but those were benefit of timing. That and the fact that I barely listen to the Lingua Ignota one because it affects me quite a bit, but that's also a testament of how powerful Caligula is of a record.
I'll think about this more though.

There are a couple songs I'm not super excited about, but on the whole it is a pretty flawless album, I agree. Been listening to it quite a bit lately.
As well as, completely different, but this album by Olam is very good:
So I guess Sturgill Simpson made a synth pop record?

I'm just listening now and I don't know what's going on.

Sounds promising
Really looking forward this one. I quite enjoyed even their last one, Freedom, and they remain one of the live bands I go to see every time I can. Surely in the top 3 of the most powerful live acts I have ever seen.

new emptyset is... fine. sounds like emptyset, maybe more vocals?
Kim Gordon remains a goddess. Eternal.
new Lingua Ignota might be my best of for the year. (until new Swans drops)

So, I listened to this last night, and I have to say I expected something more. Some nice riffs here and there, and the usual quality drum grooves, but still I feel like it lacks of something. I need a couple more spins..

Three smaller 2019 offerings from Terminal Cheesecake have yet to be addressed in this thread and I am here to fix this injustice. Recommended if you like space cakes.
