Just because I watched highlights of a game yesterday doesn't mean I want to watch 20 fucking basketball videos right now. I already told the search engine what I currently wanted to watch, and Google's like, "Fuck you, you need basketball!"
No matter what I type in, they spam my feed with shit that I didn't ask for, and I have to scroll and scroll to get past the clutter and back to the stuff I just asked for. That really pisses me off.
They are pushing reels so fucking hard. Somehow a basketball clip turned up in a reel and I clicked on it. Now it is 100% basketball.
The other day I had some parkour dude who landed a real sketchy move. It was rad (I do follow a few parkour accounts). But Instagram seemed to interpret this as "extreme sport" plus "sketchy", and weighted the fuck out of sketchy. I started getting all these horrendous mountainbike crashes and shit. Very much not me and it made med feel pretty uncomfortable. Not a fan of watching person hurts themselves doing x clips.
Anyways, it seems like instagram is super sensitive right now.
