Sure do. That's why I originally GASed for a Merc7. I'll see what I can do. I don't have my camera at the moment, and shooting with my phone just adds a bunch of extra steps to the process. Still, I will try to do a lil' synth clip.
Thanks, ritz! It really is massive. The way it reflects and spreads out the reverb trail is really impressive. It's not just a long, stretched decay like I'm used to with pedals. Again, from having played in the Vigeland maosoleum myself, this is undoubtedly the most representative and authentic 'enormous room' reverb I've heard. Then you've got all the weird shit like pitch shifting and vibrato.

It can do infinite verb dude. You gotta try that.

Woo, even just ya feedback and thoughts would be awesome, I'm looking for something to pair with my A4, as the verb built into that is super clean and not quite my cup of tea. This thing on the other hand....

Yes, 16 presets internal. I've attached a document translating MIDI data to frequency, pitch, and bpm for you to check out.FretNoMore wrote:Glad you like it!Sasquatch wrote:
Amazing! Was expecting the resistor mod, was not expecting the full on MIDI Editor cornucopia of delight.Needs some more work, I just made this as a test.
It caused some questions; is there a translation of CC values to "real" values like tempo, pitch, filter frequency, and is there a description of the factory presets? There are 16 program slots?
You can set the tempo 3 different ways over MIDI: MIDI Beat Clock, MIDI Tap CC Messages, and CC #15 sets tempo directly (values in the pdf I attached).
As for factory preset descriptions, nothing formal or official, most of the presets were created when I was making sound samples, but here you go:
PC 0 - Bypass
PC 1 - Neutral preset with descending pitch
PC 2 - Synthi Bit crunching
PC 3 - SubStutter Filter
PC 4 - Stutter Pitch
PC 5 - Outrun Sequence
PC 6 - 3 Step Octave Sequence
PC 7 - NoCoast
PC 8 - RetroShips
PC 9 - Octave Jump Bass with expression filter
PC 10 - Fuzz
PC 11 - Triggered Destruction
PC 12 - Triggered Tremolo with expression pitch
PC 13 - FreeRunning Arp
PC 14 - Stutter Bass
PC 15 - Filter Sequence
PC 16 - Adventure Sequence

Here ya go, buddy! Super simple stuff, and I do apologise for that. Having a more interesting setting on the MS would of course result in more interesting sounds, but I think it still show off a bit of what the Mercury7 can do.Ev_O))) wrote:Ay Kent you have an MS-20m yeah?

UC, both of yr demos of the mercury 7 sound awesome! I thought the rm-1n and bq reverb were all I'd ever need going forward but this sounds excellent!UglyCasanova wrote:Here ya go, buddy! fretnomore - what are you using to interface between iOS device and the Ottobit Jr? Does Midi Designer allow you to store more presets beyond the 16?FretNoMore wrote:Midi Designer controller taking shape ...

Re: Meris? Blade Runner inspired reverb? & Ottobits too!!!
You can use any iOS to MIDI interface, in my case Alesis iODock or Apple's Camera Connection Kit to a Focusrite 18i8.elevenstrings wrote:fretnomore - what are you using to interface between iOS device and the Ottobit Jr? Midi Designer can store many more presets (don't know what the limit is). What I do is set the list of presets to be a "supercontrol" for all knobs and buttons on the page, and when you recall the preset all knobs/buttons send their value to the pedal.
