that's fucking beautiful. one day, when i finally end up with a job that doesn't turn out to be a totally fucked up nightmare financially, i'm going to get on your waiting list. that may never happen, but i can dream. this may be a really stupid question, but what is "slave in"? like it makes mr. grumpy a slave? i'm just used to seeing "slave out" on the back of an amp. and i've never used a slave amp, so maybe i don't know the terminology. i've done multiple independent amps a bunch, but never had need of a slave.

Slave In bypasses the preamp and connects whatever you plug in to the phase inverter and power amp so you can use this as just a 300W power amp for any kind of preamp you want to.

I don't really need it perfect though, a little bit of dissonance on this guitar is ok with me. It's my noise guitar. It is slightly out of tune, I've melted the wax off pickups for more feedback and built in stutter button.

It really really is.... Ah shit sounds like a nasty screamer bitch!!! The kind you randomly pickup at a bar but by the morning time all your neighbors know it!!! I like those kind. :yay:

And she has ripped a shitload of flesh off your back with her fingernails, but at the time you didn't notice
Strangely enough that guitar is called the slut. She is blonde, dirty and makes a lot of noise. It is a 1971 Ibanez Tele copy. Neck is chunky like a baseball bat and it just feels so right in my hands. Fucking love it.

Nice, looking forward to it!
I'm not too familiar with Red Fang's albums but I saw them open for the Opeth/in Flames tour a few months ago. Red Fang was great live...I think this is an awesome bill.

As if the pic wasnt sexy enough. Can't wait to hear it, and I know Corey will make some killer sounding stuff with it.

One note on the liking or disliking of RF, I'm kinda 50/50 on the music, but I don't think they give a shit if people like all the songs or not. They write for them and I can respect that, even if it means some of the material isn't for me.
Also, after seeing them play a GARAGE IN TACOMA recently, those guys can do no wrong in my book. Very cool people and I'm sure Whores are going to have a blast, and get treated right, touring with them.

conky wrote:Yeah, they are compensated. Oddly enough the middle two are the ones that are dead on and the other two saddles are just a tad off with both sharp. I thought it would be the other way around. I've got the saddle height to match the curve of the fretboard. I think I can dial it in if I just fuck with it a little bit more. I got it close and then just started playing because I got a riff idea in my head.

Mr Grumpy looks fucking great. Can't wait for clips.

Weird... well I hope you get it sorted out soon my friend thats one hell of a beastly guitar!!!

As far as Red Fang goes, I don't care for their records but I love their videos and I'm sure some of that energy and humor transfers to their live show so I'm sure I'd enjoy them in a live setting.

Agree with this. ^^

Have Mean 90s in one guitar and love the neck and middle positions but as a straight up bridge pickup it hums a but too much and could be thicker.

Might try a Mean 180 actually. Supposed to be the same tone with a bit of extra output since it's a humbucker.

This is how I feel with all bands. They should write for themselves and not care if anyone likes them. :thumb:

doesn't mean I don't think they are boring as shit and not understand the hype

I did think that one video was neat but I wished it was better music with it.

Jesus man.

It honestly feels like you get off on being a contrarian.

There's tons of shit I don't like, but I wouldn't offer an opinion unsolicited.

Maybe stop pissing on peoples' dreams for a day or two.
