I definitely listen to more Miley. Not even sugarcoating that one, even if it is just 'radio radius' at work.

az, nv, or LA tour dates?

side note, I love owning a home but god damn it, there's always SOMETHING ready to eat into your (almost) debt free financial goals

in the last year we replaced the windows with super nice high efficiency windows and did spray in attic foam, only to have out AC unit go out at the end of the summer, which lead me to being on the roof going "fuck this roof is in really bad shape" so we replaced the roof...

not to mention a few new appliances (fuck matching), a large yard laid out with sod for the doggies, a planted lime tree for my tequila, upgrade to the electrical system, annnnd now my water heater needs to be replaced.

no bid deal, theyre cheap but I was talkin to the wife a few weeks ago about how we should 'just do it to do it" fuck.

 still wouldn't go back to a fucking apartment or renting though. I love my little house.

I had to open this quote in a new tab so I could keep listening to this weirdo Miley song. Kinda heavy as hell.

Anyhow. A year and a half ago our oven broke. We bought matching appliances at that time knowing that a kitchen remodel was going to happen. Well then we put the kitchen on hold so that we could do the windows.

New windows in. Picture window had a hairline crack in it within the first year. I fucking raged. That's sorted but still aggravating.

Then we put in a new patio. That wasn't that expensive but still digging into those funds.

Kitchen went into full effect back in the middle/beginning of May. Gutted the whole fucking thing. Redone plumbing and electrical. Added insulation. There was not that much of it. We live in Michigan, near Lake Michigan, which means cold and snow from November-ish through April (basically). New cabinets (and not the doom variety), countertops, floor, etc. There have been some minor nightmares involved but a year and a half later and I finally have my matching refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven functioning and in the same room.

We got a new furnace and installed AC the first summer that we moved in to our home. We just bought a new water heater because the more efficient ones that people are buying these days aren't as good as some that are now being phased out. We don't need it... yet...

Next on the list is the bathroom, which is a hideous pepto bismo pink anyway.

None of this shit is doom but whatever, my kitchen is cool as fuck.

I know what you both mean, largely our house has been good we bought it with a recently replaced roof at that time. Only thing we really did was repaint the walls to our tastes an since had to replace the AC. I just noticed there was some rot forming on the windows on the side, so I'm not looking forward to doing that only because all my tools to do this are at my job 30mins away. So it's the whole load up and loud out that I dred more than the actual work, which isn't that difficult.

And when he was done, all of his windows looked like the front of huge bass cabs... The big debate is whether the white piping around the edges or oxblood curtains are the best touch.

I really should take the windows out on that entire side of the house, all I have a view of is my neighbor's house.

additionally lol and yes great touch with the oxblood.

Exactly.... and you know what's funny? One of my friends actually tried to start a label under that. He managed to put out a singe EP.... of grindcore.

So it was The House that Doom Built but blast beats destroyed
