What is the board made out of? I need to build a new board and this would suit me well.

It's some sort of store-fixture/commercial shelf. I picked up a couple of them back when actual pedalboards were becoming a thing other than a piece of plywood on the ground. With the variety of purpose-built stuff out there, it is now indistinguishable from a manufactured pedalboard, right down to the perforated top that some of the stuff out there employs......and is angled at pretty much the same pitch as a pedaltrain. It's made out of some very sturdy metal. I paid around $15 for two of them, brand new, from a store-fixture wholesaler where I was looking for some hinges. There's a company out there that's charging around $400 for pretty much the same thing. God bless America.

Good idea! Ideally a Pedaltrain 2 would suite my needs well for my 4 large pedals and to hide the mess of power supplies, but I had one in the past and don't want to go back. A custom DIY board is much more fitting to my rig, and I have made several in the past but I Just need something bigger for a 2nd DL4 I just picked up.

lost in music wrote:Even though I've got my own found-parts pedalboard, I went googling around for a shelf like Cisco's. Didn't find one yet, but I came across this

http://www.wallcontrol.com/9in-deep-slotted-metal-pegboard-shelf-assembly-red/

which seems like it could be a potentially workable option. No holes though. :idk:

That is the right idea. I think I may just have to find something out in the world. Online shopping is ridiculous with prices for anything remotely what I am looking for.

Junction Box -> Klone -> MF104m Delay -> Holy Grail -> Skyhammer -> Junction Box -> 44 Magnum Power Amp

So now I just need to tote around this pedal board and a cab, and I've got a 44w Skyhammer amp that weighs less than 30 pounds.
My junction box has two outputs, so the other one is the recording output of the Skyhammer so I can plug straight into my interface.

Skullys setups are always so sick. Always the right amount of stuff and always sick cool stuff. How is this one not the coolest shit you've seen?

And UC, can't wait for ILFEU, that stuff looks crazy awesome

I want to try a Skyhammer on bass. Skully can do you do that and tell me how it sounds? I like the voicing of it better than the Meatsmoke for some reason.

Actually tried it out last night and it was awesome. I didn't re-EQ between guitar and bass while I was tracking stuff, it sounds great with the gain shown like it is in the picture with the boost off. The high end could probably roll off a tiny little bit from where I had it, but I'll post the recording after I master it today and make a thread for it or something

LOVING The amp on the board setup,
it's one of my favorite ways to play right now

looking for an ultra light cab that doesn't sound terrible to complete it myself.

Yeah it's nice to just have a tiny little 1x10 to tote around. I want to get a different speaker though, the midrange spike on this Celestian Vintage g10 is insane, and I am a fan of mids

Bass board. We only play instrumentals, so I have the Vocoder on there strictly for my own amusement (AKA messing with Eivind).

The choir mode is really beefy and synthy with bass though, so I will find a use for it that's actucally productive. Also, Vocoder > glitch pedals = :)*

home pedalboard...found a shelf...only had to buy the Phase 100 and the power supply...in the near future i'm gonna get a Stellaverb so I can put the Ghost Echo back on the main board...

gotta admit the Phase 100 is a really nice phaser...really happy with it.
