Not sure if they're still around, but there used to be a UK brand called Happy Shopper, which was very much a basic design like the Euro Shopper (maybe the same company).


One of my finest memories was of two bandmates in a local shop, one picked up a tin of Happy Shopper beans and grinning, said to the other "what am I ?"

He replied "You're a cunt."

I feel like they still exist. But I may be wrong.

They both have their place. But yeah, I've always said Sonic Youth weren't a very good band but their post modernity made the press think they geniuses when I think they were just trolling in how much they could get away with making bad music that still got good press.

Its like Sleaford Mods except those guys aren't self aware and think they are actually making good music. Theres one video of them playing live in a gallery somewhere and theres one guy in the audience you see just laughing at how terrible they are. But 8/10 from every outlet cos they're working class and are white boys being political.

Yes, talk about inspired work! (Although, to be fair, the now-private tutorial video shows a couple of envelope modulation modes that the PitchFactor and H9 don’t have.)

Well, we can guess that Undulator will be a green pedal and Ultratap will be white, sticking with the Factor/H9 color coding.

I saw a YT gear chat where Dave Friedman said people only ever used H3000s for MicroPitch. If people buy in, that may continue the downward trend on PitchFactors, which have knobs and do this algorithm and much more.

Only way to get this algorithm with knobs, so arguably a better argument for existence as a separate product than the Blackhole and MicroPitch.

They missed a big chance to put Resonator as a "hidden" algorithm in that one.
