The switch though...It's like having my tone pot either clockwhise or counterclockwise, right? So doesn't yours sound either super harsh or really dark?

Ummm I think it's a little more than that. Not really sure though. With it up it is scooped and makes the pedal feel very much like a distortion pedal. With the switch down it seems to have a flat eq and sounds more like an overdrive. More organic or transparent or whatever lame term you want. Also, with the switch up it turns into chunky djenty stuff when cranked. With it down it turns into more of a loose fuzz, reminding me of my tonebender.
