Agreed.
Also, need a pedal recommendation folks. I have an EQD Dispatch Master delay + reverb that I use for ambient stuff and leads. It's OK, but with the mix cranked the mix is still far too dry for my taste. I had one of those limited edition Ghost Disasters which sounded great, but was way too big for my board and cost way too much for me to keep on a board I play out with/tour with. Suggestions for a delay + reverb pedal that sounds good and can get nice and washed-out?

Well I was going to say RM-1N but idk if that's 'way too big for your board' or not.

It's just a bunch of reverb, though, right?

It's not a delay pedal, that's true. It has a fucking cavernous reverb to it and would fit the bill for what I imagine you're using it for, given where we're posting and what I've heard of your music.

Billy - the Tentacle is supposed to be a Green Ringer, iirc, so it should be a solid replacement.
Sweet. Cause for just an octave up, no fuzz....there aren't a lot of options.

EHX Cathedral is a solid delay/verb choice. Thing is an ambient machine.

You could also use an Infanem STEP. It has a clean octave up along with a bunch of other sounds.
Another option is a smallsound bigsound Buzzz. It has the octave on a footswitch so you could have clean boost/clean octave up (well, mostly clean. There is hint of grit) or you could do OD/octave up OD, or Fuzz/octave fuzz.
You could also have the octave on all the time and the mid scoop on the footswitch for some crazy sounds and textures stacked into other dirt.

You mean the part where it ends and we don't have to hear it anymore?

Drafted up an idea the other day.
Orange Matamp ORST/OR100 JFET emulation + a Orange Matamp spring verb unit emulation in 1 box. I laid it out, ordered pcbs, parts, sent it over to Chris to be etched.
