Re: Craigslist and Ebay watch(doom specific)
I had a Linebacker practice amp years ago. Great-fugly gain solid state. Actually got it fixed once, and replaced the speaker. No Ampeg SS or VH, but for $50...
My pal has a Japanese-made Ibanez RG superstrat he's looking to sell. $120 shipped with a hard case, I'll ship it UPS. Seymour Duncan (JB? forget...) bridge pickup, dual humbucker, solid bridge, stripped to a wood finish. Neck is too wizard thin for me, or I'd have bought it. I can post pics if anyone is interested.

Make a decent backup if you like the shred necks.

I do like shred necks I just happen to like Jackson's more for that. but that one actuall doesn't look that bad, esp since it's been sanded down. That makes a huge difference there.

It's a sweet git, just doesn't feel like a fender or 50's gibby neck to me, and that's what I like. He's moving, odd guitar out. Working shredder in great condition + upgraded pickup + hardcase for 100 + shipping. Can't really beat that. He'll just sell it to GC if no one buys it.

Re: Craigslist and Ebay watch(doom specific)
I had a Jackson shredder guitar for a little while. I couldn't bond with those necks. Too wafer thin and didn't feel like there was anything in my hand. I can see how a shredder would like them, but I ain't no shredder. And the Floyd Rose trems are a total pain in the arse to set up. Sold it for a little more than I paid so I was happy.ShaolinLambKiller wrote:I do like shred necks I just happen to like Jackson's more for that. but that one actuall doesn't look that bad, esp since it's been sanded down.
