Please no one post a pedalboard picture before the end of the day

Maybe because I usually run drone/oscillating/chaos machines into it but I don't really use it for that purpose.
I feel you. It has grown on me for that purpose and I use it a lot as noisemaker whereas before I would have started with some kind of EHx Freeze pad or heavily reverberated delay or fuzz oscillation or synth thing and would have mangled it with other pedals after.

A couple changes from the last time I posted this mess. Trying out a couple things, hence the not-so-tight wiring

I'd rather post now than on another page full of majestic top dollar ilf boards the size of a ping pong table
Hotcake: Starts to get muddy and dark when the drive control is at about noon, at which point I'm barely getting any dirt worth mensioning

Fabtone: Dispite the whole list of good reasons to hate this mahfakker...It's the shit. Luuurve it.
Clusterfuzz: Beyond awesome. It's slowly but strongly taking away my GAS for other dirt. Redirecting it to delay

FX20: Nothing fancy, but it's all I need in a phaser

One of the inputs seems to have a cold solder or whatever, need to check it.
RV3: Keep going back to it. So much ambienty goodness in such a small package. Only thing I imagine I'd might wanna replace it with if I had the scratch: EQD AR.
EchoPuss: Beats my Ibanez ES-2 at about everything (a tone control, nice modulation, its smaller,...). Except tap tempo, I NEEEEEED tap tempo

Ditto X2: I suck at looping, so I just mess with that once in a while. The reverse and half speed options are sick though.

I have absolutely no idea why they didn't simply do that. Can you even imagine? 'Hey, let's make one a pedal so powerful there's literally no comparing it with any hardware geared toward guitar players, but let's critically hamstring its playability by giving it one fucking knob. Maybe people will want to use their smartphones to load stuff into it--that's cool now, right?'
this made me lol
if i had a h9-factor I would be waaay too overwhelmed by options. I use maybe 2-4 algoritms on each of my eventides, space and pitchfactor, and sometimes just that adds anxiety
Yeah I definitely was overwhelmed by the H9. But since the factor series uses an encoder for the mode algo selector (you have a couple of them, I think?) they could just make the encoder spin forever to select an infinite number of algos. It's not like, say, a BitQuest with the hardware limitation of a rotary pot with eight slots. If you spin the algo encoder on a factor pedal too fast, it doesn't even track accurately...I know they could do it. But they choose not to.
I assume each factor pedal runs off it's own chip and everything else is basically the same. Couldn't you get either A) get a super chip with all the algos, or B) a rotary switch to select different chips? I hope Eventide is lurking on this thread

Jetpack XP ALL MOD
Seriously, though, just give the damn thing the S P A C E -style screen (where there are no little LEDs on the left to indicate the algo you're on) and put everything in it. I'd buy one.
