Yeah, well done on that.
has that digitech taken a beating? or is that just how it kinda looks from far away?dminner wrote:Woohoo! Finally figured out how to make these lava cables. Pain in the ass but finally done and wired up. Also ditched the tremolo and ordering a ditto to fill the last tiny hole.
It is supposed to look like that, I wanted it to have a gnarly space trash look. It was refinished and modded to an xp-ALLspace6oy wrote:has that digitech taken a beating? or is that just how it kinda looks from far away?dminner wrote:Woohoo! That looks rad af. Does someone make this particular look/mod for sale?dminner wrote:It is supposed to look like that, I wanted it to have a gnarly space trash look. Also ditched the tremolo and ordering a ditto to fill the last tiny hole.So it has the 100, 200, 300, and 400 modes. I see why everyone loves the space station, I spend all my time there (unless I need over the top reverb).
Lets not kid ourselves this is an "all of the time" need.dminner wrote:unless I need over the top reverb
The look is me. I do a lot of pedal refinishes and rehouses.whoismarykelly wrote: That looks rad af. Does someone make this particular look/mod for sale?
Haha. Before I got this I would have agreed with that. Have you ever experienced the reverbs on the xp400D.o.S. wrote:Lets not kid ourselves this is an "all of the time" need.dminner wrote:unless I need over the top reverb

Well, I would have made the extra bypass looper anyway because I wanted it after my dirt (I know I let you guys down with my lack of pre dirt verb haha, but it's just not my thing) and didn't want to take up space for a large effect that doesn't always get pulled out.D.o.S. wrote: Shame about the bypass, though.
What kind of cabs are you running it through? I like a lot of the sounds I get from the THR10C and I'd be interested in hearing the big one.Interstellar Burst wrote:So I committed the cardinal sin of going solid state with the Yamaha THR100HD, but am really loving it so far, particularly as it gives me a compact(ish) stereo rig that will suit almost any purpose:
K. I take it back. I finally pulled out my Les Paul tonight and could hear a difference with duller/thicker sounding pickups (usually play with hot-ish singles). More high end content with the Space Station in the chain (or maybe it slightly thins out the sound?). It doesn't bother me, but I guess it was harder to discern with brighter pickups. Carry on!hotknife wrote:Maybe it differs from unit to unit? :3 Out of boredom, I did another trve bypass looper A/B last night with both my Jetpack Mods XP100 and a Space Station and still couldn't detect any difference.
