I've been playing a lot with the tone knob jacked and the volume knob all the way down. Rules.

Also, apart from wanting to be able to turn down in between songs when gigging I would totally roll with a no-knob guitar. As it is none of my guitars have a tone knob.

And yeah I don't know about the no tone knob thing, i didn't realize how much I used mine until recently. There are some neck pickup sounds on a rat that sound really sweet with the tone rolled back

I've removed the neck pickups from all of my guitars as well
