where have you been? I have 80. I have 10 ampegs alone.

mate...the question should really be..."How many amps don't you own?"

yes this would be a much wiser choice in question. And there's still quite a few. just nothing I'm actively seeking. this just happened to come up for decent.

yea it is. I'm down with it. love the look which is why I went on and got it along with the head. And now I'm ready to offload it immediately. just doesn't jive with my playing and my meaty hands.

I build cabinets. Don't plan on selling the heads. I do utilize them all. I do record a lot of material. I like shaping my guitars to each project.

I mean, I understand where you're coming from. It's like when someone criticizes a rig or pedalboard or whatever by saying, "you don't NEED all of that."

It's like...no shit. I WANT all of that.

"What would you do with 80 amps?" "80 amps? Two chicks at the same time, that's what I'd do."

I went to a show with Conan two nights ago and I couldn't help but feel somehow disappointing. The riffing was good but the vocals left me wanting, I had a really big appreciation for them and I already assumed the vocals wouldn't be as good as on the albums. I know vocals aren't important in doom as much as the riffing but I really liked that unison chanting type thing they did and it pumped me up. The vocals were more like black metal screeching and the bassist who was doing the low part of the singing seemed unable to actually do it all that well maybe because her register wasn't that low. I don't know, they aren't a bad band, and they ripped maybe I just wasn't feeling it as much as I was hoping for.

Either way the no one was really moving either which I guess I really like most pits and getting really into and if I'm not getting into I like when people are around me getting into since it's easier to loosen up. Maybe I just don't like doom metal and shit as much as I used to or something. I really like Pete of bongripper solo set as Bottomed, it was really fun.

Just an anecdote on a doom show in Chicago so hopefully it doesn't offend!
