Plus I played really old (70s/80s) monosynths so there was absolutely no tactile feedback or varying results from how hard I played, I even went through a period of playing my CS01 as a keytar. Then I realised all the while synths had been resurging with new products that the pedal game had totally exploded with amazing shit, and I always admired the Seefeel/Disco Inferno/Fennesz ideals of guitars being used more as a source sound for heavy processing. Then I found ILF.......
Not sure why I just wrote my life story but whatevs. Ramble.

Seriously though I ventured over to Reddit and tgp yesterday out of desperation while ILF was down. Those boards are so damn vanilla by comparison.
Yeah both seems really great to me these days. Took a break obsessing over gear for about seven years only to return and find crazy pedals and a super interesting synth game. So...rambles welcome. Other forums display the the basic white girls of pedaldom.

I think the Mini Fooger Delay is the only thing I've added since I last posted but here's my live setup and why I need to upgrade my board/power supply situation

Nice board, you have the bass DI near the beginning?

Hows this all routed?

Yes you need a bigger board, setting up live must be a pain
but having everythign in one row looks super rewarding in some regards.

Putting in a Vote for Cowboy Curtis on the "who did it better" question

I had an original DOD 201 phaser, it's a rockin' little phaser. It's subtle, sweet, and not overpowering at all. It's nice, little swirl if you need it. If you've heard the mojohand nebula or mxr phase 45, the 201 has a very similar sound.

Currently the routing is a nightmare which contributes to my need for a bigger board so I can have the pedal order I actually want, but I do love having them in a line. It's routed in order right to left and the expression pedal is running the MF-102. I have the DI at the beginning because it's my primary overdrive (running 85% of the time) so I find having it post-fuzz, post flange/chorus it sounds horrible. I never actually run a DI anyway, I force them to mic me so I'm guaranteed to have all my effects represented in the mix. I'll eventually have the other Mountainking pedals post DI too, or eliminate the DI when I get a head with natural drive then I won't need it.

MXR bass DI sounds awesome tho, you might have a hard time replacing it.

Thanks for the explanation,
