Thanks for the explanation,
It sounds SO good! I'm planning on buying a Matamp so that's the only thing I can foresee eliminating the need for it.

plz answer. most curious on a cheap phaser.
As mentioned above, the DOD 201 is fairly subtle. It isn't as deep or swirly as an EHX Small Stone and offers less extreme variance in speed settings. There's also a bit of a volume drop when the pedal is engaged. Still, the 201 is decent enough for mild psychedelia and shoegaze. It sounds less like a wah than other phasers when fed into gain sources and likely cascades well with other modulation (I plan to conduct experiments with a flanger). The 201 seems to excel at creating subtle whooshes and psuedo-leslie textures. I got mine on clearance from Musician's Friend for $39.95 shipped.

I had one some years ago.
That's a perfect description.

I was running dual setup for awhile. It got cumbersome to continue packing/unpacking.

I was going to go back and edit and say something along the lines of, "not like I play out much..."
But practice/jam space is semi-shared so I always put pedals away or bring them home. When I play at home... fuck it. Go UG style and spread them where the fuck ever.

Ahhh, the perfect board.
One of the major downsides to holyboards is rearranging.

Dirty Robot's arrival = Electro-industrial mode today:
I have all of this running into the same Boss preamp Justin Broderick uses ... "You breed ... like raaaattts!"

im thinking i might just strap down the ones on the shelf and leave the rest to free float because my board is so dense.

It's an Audible Disease Thirty Three (a clone of the DOD FX33 Buzz Box).

Threw this together for a jam session this evening. Was incredibly fun and dense.
